    Default shampoos and other stuff

I know what conditioners to use on my hair thanks to the dried, fried hair thread, now I need help on what shampoos are good for my dry, curly, bleached hair. I wash my hair about three times a week and once a week use a protein pack and the other 2 days use Neutrogena triple moisture deep conditioner. after I get out of the shower I put in Neutrogena triple moisture healing shine serum on the ends (it is like an oil) and then put the silk touch leave -in cream and let air dry naturally.

I need suggestions on the BEST thing to put in my hair for when I air dry it. Do you ladies know of any EXCELLENT leave-in or spray on conditioner for my hair other than the ones I am already using? And what about shampoos? What is the BEST shampoo to use for my damaged hair?

    Thanks!

A shampoo is meant only to clean the scalp and hair of dirt oils etc.

One that is meant for damaged or bleached hair has extra less harsh ingredients.

I honstly think there is such a thing as product over-kill. Too many products on the hair and we lose shine and natural texture.

I would start with a good clarifying shampoo. Then a warmed (in a pot on the stove) conditioner, add just a drop of olive oil to the conditioner.

Use this method, and let you're hair have a break.

With my new cut, i was sold ALL the goodies. What i got was build up, and a dirty feeling after a fresh shampoo.

Try this just once. Let the hair air dry...see how you like it.

Whatever conditioner you're currently using, use the shampoo which is it's mate. Hair care products are meant to be used synergisticly (please excuse my spelling). A lot of lines make their shampoos more alkaline and their conditioners more acidic (or vice versa) so it's important to keep the balance by using both. Did that make sense?

Yes, this is very very important. I totally agree with this!

I really like Silk Repair by Graham Webb... I know I probably spelled that wrong... oops... Anyway, I put my hair through hell and that stuff seems to really repair/protect my hair from the damage I put it through.

Biolage. The hair conditioning balm is excellent. There is also a Biolage serum that you can use on your hair when styling. Excellent stuff. I highly recomend it.

was just going to say biolage.. they make great conditioning balms.... you can even buy inexpensive stuff at the drug store... i think aussie makes a good one... its called three minute miracle.. that stuff is awesome..... also, thermasilk makes actual kits that come with a cap to put in.. its kind of like a mini deep conditioning treatment that you might get at the salon.... i do love the good exspensive products, but sometimes drug store stuff works just as well. u gotta experiment with different things to see what works the best for you....

Kerastase line, by L'oreal, only available in salons. It's expensive, but is the best damn stuff I have ever found for my dry, over processed hair! You will LOVE it!
