    Default About the $$

I've been thinking about dancing for ages... but one question... is it worth it? How much money do you make in an average club (not the high enders... I wouldn't start there)... and how much more do you make if you get yourself some good breasts?

Only you can decide if it's worth it for you. And you don't need implants; there's room for just about every kind of breasts. As far as how much money you make, that varies widely depending on where you are and what the clientele at that particular club is.

I agree with Yek. It really depends on where you are.

Can you tell us where you are wanting to work or even the state so that we can help you more?

    Well, that depends.
    1. How good are your selling skills? This one thing will make a huge difference in your ability to make good money.
    2. What city are you thinking of working in? There is a huge earning difference depending on location. For instance Lincoln, Nebraska would have an earning potential of $100-200 a shift, where as Las Vegas could have and earning potential of $500-2000 a shift.
    3. How pretty are you? Although not an absolute in this business (selling ability being the most important factor), if you don't have the typical standard of beauty for the clubs/cities you are trying to work in, it will be hard trying to make a decent living. I've known drop dead georgous girls that had lots if peircings and tattoos, and the guys would pass on dances from them because their look was too beyond what the customer wanted.
    4. How will being a dancer affect your social life? Will you be abandonded by friends/family/SO because of your choice to dance? These questions are very important for you to ask yourself, because if you have no support base outside of dancing, the industry can use you up.
    5. Getting implants only will change your ability to earn money if it also changes your feelings of self confidence. If getting implants makes you feel prettier, then your money will reflect your increased self confidence. I feel like my money is sometimes easier to earn now that I have implants.

Is it worth is? That is such a personal question that only you can answer it. I love being a dancer. Everyone I know knows what I do for a living. I make great money (compared to what I earned in the coporate world), and I have lots of free time. I travel often, and I enjoy my career. Not everyone in this business can say that. I feel like I was born to do this work, and can't believe it took me so long to start dancing.

My advice... Do an ameture contest or two (if there is one in your area). Then you can get and idea of what you will be doing for a living later. When doing the contest hang out and talk to the customers in the club. Keep in mind the customers will be on their best behavior with you since it is your first time.

Something I learned from dancing is that men think about sex a lot more then I thought possible. For most men, sex fantasies have no rules or taboos. Men fantasize about their sisters and daughters, about their friend's wives, about their mother-in-laws, about animals, about new and unusual ways to masturbate, and pretty much everything that can be applied to sex, men will fantasize about it. Men always WANT to cheat, but usually take the high road and just fantasize about it. Most men, even if happily married, want to KNOW that they can get in another woman's pants, if they wanted to-that is.

Many new/young girls in this industry are taken by suprise by the behavior of the guys at strip clubs. I'd like to think that my dad is just like Ward Cleaver and never has a sexual thought outside of his own bedroom, with the lights off, under the covers, and only when absolutly nessessary. AHHHH, but now I know that he probably was more like the dad in the Movie "American Beauty", and had lustful thoughts for my teenage friends.

Promote yourself and earn more money! This is a business that is owned by strippers for strippers. Let's make that money!

Wow. I totally agree with Paris' post. I think people are too hung up on this whole "boob" thing...I do just as well as any girl with fake boobies, and I'm barely a b! However, this is in proprtion with my small body frame. Although I do want boobs... I just can't afford the 10grand right now... I refuse to buy boobs before I buy a house, lol.

You can make a lot of money dancing. If you start out at a little club in the country, though, be aware on most nights you might only make 150 bucks. I don't know, as I don't have experience with many clubs like that...

Also, looks do have a large impact on your money. I hate to say it, but it's true. I dyed my hair dark brown, and it fucked my money up, and also I once gained ten pounds, and that fucked up my money too. But, who knows, it could have been the fact that my self confidence took a nose dive that really did it.

Good luck to you if you choose to pursue a career in this industry.
