My BF is working at the Capitol today; I'll pass on if there's any drama. I also have a few friends who are planning on going out there to welcome the KKK into the liberal city of Austin.![]()
they came down here. OMG what trailer trash inbreds. sorry that's what they were. it was a joke. no one took them seriously, just some onlookers.
I hope someone pointed out to the KKK that Austin's most famous son (Stevie Ray Vaughan) was a white boy who sounded black and wanted to be like Jimi Hendrix.
Any group that advocates having less fun in life by living in a little mental bubble is a sad, sad, thing.
Ahhhh, the KKK...hope they all die.

Ugh...why did stupid idiots like that gather in our state? It's always in Texas...
OH NO. Believe me. They are in Tennessee, too. So stupid.
No they are not just in Tennessee or Texas they are also in Northern parts of the country and in the west!

Sorry to bump this, but here's the follow up story:
About a dozen Ku Klux Klan members from Dallas and San Angelo rallied in front of Austin's City Hall Saturday afternoon.
The rally supported a proposition that would put a ban on same sex marriage in the Texas Constitution. Texans vote Tuesday on Proposition 2.
CBS 42s Keith Elkins reports that 14 Klan member participated in the rally. It was scheduled to last two hours, but it ended after 20 minutes.
Speakers said the KKK is not a hate group, but a law abiding Christian rights organization. Imperial Grand Wizard Steven Edwards of San Angelo said he believes Texas as a whole supports Proposition 2. But his group needed to rally to get out the vote. Edwards also said they werent wearing hoods because Klan members dont wear them in public.
Several rallies protesting the Klan were held nearby. A group of several hundred who oppose the ban on same sex marriage marched across the South First Street Bridge. One group told CB! S 42's Gregg Watson it came out to balance the hate message of the Klan with a message of love.
The rallies were peaceful except when Klan members driving to city hall let two members with Confederate flags out of the car at 3rd and Colorado. That was outside of area protected by Austin police. A brief scuffle happened between Klan members and members of a group called Anti-Racist Association. Police quickly escorted the KKK members to the barricaded area.

They may be free to talk their assess off with their hate and nonsense, but likewise I'm free to laugh my ass off at their hate and nonsense. You are too.
I loved going to strip clubs; I actually made some friends there. Now things are different for the clubs and for me. As a result I am not as happy.
Customers are not entitled to grope, disrespect, or rob strippers. This is their job, not their hobby, and they all need income. Clubs are not just some erotic show for guys to view while drinking.
NOTE: anything I post here, outside of a direct quote, is my opinion only, which I am entitled to. Take it for what you estimate it is worth.
