Memphis clubs are SKANKY. Don't go there unless you want to grind guys until they come in their pants, in a room that smells like unwashed pussy and cigarettes. I can't tell you where you should go, but you don't want to go to Memphis.
I lived most of my life there and I love my town, but the strip clubs are gross!
wow, yeah thats sweet of you to b honest....well ill mark memph. off my list...you arent the only one ive heard that from.
Oh man memphis is gross. Try Christies in Nashville or Ken's Gold club (my favorite) Anthony's is nice too. Nashville is a good city to work in this time of year, I think! It's where I am going for the winter!
i have such an issue. I started working in cleveland over the summer. Now i am in school and I still want to continue doing it. Of course, I am still in school and that is what is most important to me. However, I could still use the money from stripping. Im in Nashville, but I want to work somewhere that is medium - small, where I don't run the risk of getting caught by people i know or worse of all my teachers. Please help
Hi Ladies,
Are any of you currently dancing in Nashville? I've been out of the clubs for a while, but am looking forward to getting back and finding a few new favs.
I'm looking forward to becoming someone's regular
John
Nashville will be enforcing a six foot rule starting December 1st unless something changes before then. They have all the tools and legal issues resolved as of now, and I expect they will begin enforcment then... but who knows for sure? I would expect the $$$ to drop dramatically when this goes into effect unless you want to meet customers OTC for privates.

Nashville never was good for strip clubs. It used to be known for it's sex houses up until about 4 years ago when they closed. That town is really trying to eradicate anything sexual.
I was born and raised in Memphis and it sucks.
You would be better off going to Atlanta, paying the $300 per club licensing fee, and working there.
3-foot rule, actually.Originally Posted by laplover69

Christie's Cabaret is a nice place to work. Ken's Gold Club is not too bad, either.
Wow. I have to disagree with those who think nashville is not a lucrative location. I have been working there for about 2 years now (seasonally) and I have made as much money there as in Philly and Providence. It's all about the club you work at, in my opinion. The bigger, the better. I think Christies and Ken's are the best.
This 3-foot rule will most likely take a toll on income but it's nothing uncommon. Lots of cities/states have these regulations and if it's a city ordinance then there is nothing anyone can do about it.
The advantage to being in Nashville is that the closest decent club is at least 2 hours away and on a drunken Friday night, I can't see too many nashvillian club patrons making the commute.
I wouldn't worry too much about the rule. I will believe it when I see it!!

If the lap dance distance rule sticks, it basically will criminalize dancers primary source of income, contact dancing for customers.
Unless Nashville enforces the law strictly as places like Fargo ND do, dancers will continue to do business like usual and get busted whenever vice comes in. In Memphis dancers get a ticket, which used to be $99 for any offense, but no jail time.
Time will only tell how things go in Nashville.

A work friend of mine works at Christie's in Nashville. She says she earns from $500-$2000. Mind you, she is an excellent hustler.
The Memphis customers I've had have all been nipple suckers. F*ck that!

Another friend works at The Cheetah in Atlanta. It seems as if every traveling customer has heard of The Cheetah, NBA players included. Not only is it up-up-upscale, this is the tip out breakdown:Originally Posted by Tina

I pay on average $150/shift in tipout/fees. Oh how I wish I lived in Atlanta.
The tip out at the Cheetah is SO much more than that! I'm not sure your friend gave the correct info. I worked at the Cheetah when I first moved back to the south and although it's been about 2 years, I can't imagine fees have gone DOWN since then. At that time, the fees were 100 to house. I'm pretty sure they still are, too.
Could be wrong though...
Also, I really don't think it is worth the drive from Nashville to ATL just to dance. I truly thik you can make just as much money in Nashville, where the fees are much lower, and you don't have to make the 4-5 hour commute. (thus, saving money)
Wow, I guess I have an unwashed pussy then since I work there? For everyone's info, I personally do not grind until guys come in their pants and I walk away with about $100 a night, on week nights. I highly suggest Memphis, as long as you are not a push over that gets walked all over.Originally Posted by Yekhefah
