Default Do custys try to take advantage of newbies?

I've been dancing for a little over two weeks now. I'm working in a pretty high contact club and thats pretty much the standard for the rest of the area of the South Eastern Michigan area. I new this going in, but I've encountered an obnoxious amount of guys trying to touch my coochie.

I'm wondering if they're trying it because I admit to most of them that I'm new and herhaps they're just trying to see what they can get away with. Do guys who frequent SC's a lot like to try this on new dancers? Perhaps think we're more manipulable.

For the most part I've been able to deflect it. I've had a few guys turn down more dances after I made it clear that it wasn't going to happen (one guy told me I was really conservative and that he didn't think I liked men--because strippers are so conservative and all )

I still sold 14 dances to one customer who kept trying and 8 to another so I guess they weren't that upset they couldn't see and touch my cooch.

I've tried "Thats not allowed" or "no, we can't do that the bouncer is right over there." Do you guys have advice on any better wasy to keep them from going there? Also should I stop telling people I'm new? (it usually comes up when they're like how long have you been dancing? What other clubs ahve you worked at?)

Don't ever tell anybody you're new to dancing. If anything, you're new to that particular club. Without ever saying you're new you will still have to be on guard for the predators who can tell.

    Be careful.

Wow! Thank you guys, this is totally what I was suspecting. I reasoning for admitting to guys that I was completely new was so they wouldn't expect me to act like a pro or be surprised if I did something totally dorky . . .

Does a bear poop in the woods?

Don't believe any customer that says "but all the other girls do it," or "You could go to XYZ club and make so much more money" or "all the dancers that make big bucks do it" or whatever. Don't believe a customer that says an individule girl is doing extras for him either, he is just trying to get more mileage out of you is all.

I always agree to do extras when asked by the customers, but I put a price on it. "Sure, I'd love to go back to you motel room. The rate is $1500 for the first hour and $1000 for each additional hour, and all I'll do is lap dance for you."

If the customer agrees, then I just made bank on doing a private show. I've yet to have a taker, though.

yea im not new to dancing... but new to my most recent club... and if they hear that they will all get a dance with you, even ones that dont dance commonly (this is how i explain extra money made as a newbie to a club), just so that they can see if you are one that will let them touch your jublies! (its like... "NO you may not touch my tit? i worked 10 miles from here before... and im sure the laws were the same there!")

Yes, they will. Don't be afraid to get nasty with them if they're trying to get nasty with you. Break their damn finger if you have to. I've found that bending the finger way backward until they yelp usually makes them knock it off.

Of course, you should only go this route if they're being persistent. Most of the time a simple "no" or "we don't do that here" (or in L.A., "no se puede aqui") will suffice. And when they start that whole "but all the other girls do it" routine, just tell them flat-out that no, the other girls do not. Let them know you aren't buying any bullshit.

I have noticed though that guys like the new girls and often spend alot on them. I know when I was new I had quite a few guys who went to the VIP room specifically because I was new. (and then were gentlemen in there) Before I start a dance for a new guy I tell them the rules. If they try to break them I say "naughty boy" and move their hand the 1st time, then say "u-uh" and slap their hand and move it. If they are really annoying me I will say I think you're done and not do any more dances. Jenna

Customers try to take advantage of EVERY dancer. If they see an in, they go for it. She's new, she's drunk, she's into the same bands I am, whatever.

I think they do. It's the whole aproach. I am not in generally speaking, but from my one experience and seeing other new girl through the time, newbies don't know the game yet, they are ussualy nervous, not so confortable with themselves, eazier dicoureaged by men, as later on ( Some guys know that and they take control of the situation, afterall, they are in the clubs all the time), while an experienced dancer knows how to stay on top of it.

Oh, they totally do!! Don't even tell them you are new. If anything just say you are "new to that club." I totally remember the confusion my first months dancing...guys would be like, no, everybody does this that or the next thing... you just don't know how to give a dance blah blah and I didn't know if they were lying or not. (they were) always remember, just like you are trying to run game on the custies, they are trying to run game on you

It's not the same everywhere . . . it depends on how clear the rules are, and what kind of people frequent your club. I'm new, and I've apparently gotten the hang of dancing REAL well, because nobody guessed it without me telling them -- but I did tell most of the customers I talked to, and I think it helped me sell dances and get good stage tips, because I was clearly enjoying myself, and getting something out of it, and I think I managed to be "cutely awkward" when I had awkward moments.

But this is Portland, city of the almighty air-dance, and there's a big sign up in my club saying "Please Do Not Touch The Dancers", so I don't think anyone thinks they can fool me.

They will try to touch the coochie no matter how long you have been dancing. I had to slap a guy in the face TWICE last night, apparently b/c he didn't get it the first time!

Eventaully, you will be able to sense when they are going to go for your crotch or tits, and smoothly block/deflect/dance away. When I have a guy who is a little bit persisteat, I jsut break all contact and move into air-dance mode until he puts his hands back to his sides, then I resume contact. I have also tried the finger-bending trick (save this one for the really super-persistent assholes and those who claim not to understand English), the "naughty boy" approach (works best with decent custies who have instant balls thanks to booze, but who are basicaly not bad guys) and the more creative "But I do so much OTHER neat stuff, I don't have time for that." I also grind a lot and falsh a lot (both acceptable in my club) so they will have a distraction. If all else fails, stop the dance, get your payment, and walk away. I will occasionally collect first if I see the guy is going to be a real nuscience, then I can jsut step away and say "you DO want me to finish this dance, don't you?"

**Disclaimer: The least emotionally stressful way to cope with tis is jsut to say, "We don't do that here, if you do it again, that is the end of your dance." and then mean it. Many girls will walk away from any confrontation, rather than deal with this sort of nonsense. That is a perfectly acceptable way to handle the situation, if you choose. However, in a smaller club, where those one-dance and two-dance custy's really add up, walking away from any possibility of trouble may cost you quite a bit of money. My strategies are all geared toward getting ONE or TWO dances out of these creeps the first time I see them, because I know that, once they figure out I am not going to put out, they will never buy a dance from me again. This is NOT for everybody. **
