    Default mustache???

The other day when I was talking to my hubby about buying the Hair pills I mentioned that it will prolly make all the hair grow more. Then he told me to be careful because I already have a little mustache!!!!! I never noticed a mustache before. I mean, i have a little whit fuzz but I didnt think it was noticeable. Does anyone else have that and not really notice it? Cold it be because i am used to it. If i wax it, will it make it worse? How bad des waxing there hurt?

It stings a little...ok a lot when you first have it done...but just like plucking the eyebrows...you get used to it. Also, as you wax more, you get less hair re-growth...if you SHAVE the area, you'll probably see it get darker and what not. But, if you shave, it'll grow back finer and less "dense".

try Nair for the face... it's milder than the one for your legs and i didn't notice any irritation. I tried it a few years ago when I realized "OMG, I have a mustache!" Upon closer inspection, I realized that the peach fuzz on my upper lip wasn't thick or noticeable at all, but infact, my skin is a bit discolored, and therefore darker, around my mouth. I used the Nair anyway and the peach fuzz was gone. it took a while for it to grow back. just make sure you moisturize the are afterwards b/c it feels kinda funny otherwise

From working in a salon I've never had my mustache done but it's the same as having your eyebrows done, generally a lip is 10-15 bucks of course I'm back in Michigan now may be more or less where you are at. I'd probably get it done about every two weeks or so, basically it's the only way you will keep it under control. Also if you have sensitive skin I wouldn't go to the club right afterwards, a lot of times you get a red mark where the wax was for about an hour or so, after that you'll be fine. Hope this helps .

I second the nair motion. That way you can just re do it at your house whenever you notice it growing back. Your husband was a bit insensitive pointing that out.

Well i went to my salon today. Got a cut and the usuall brow wax. I asked amber if she thought i should do the lip. She told me it was just peachfuzz and that it wasnt even noticeable and to leave it alone or it may someday turn into a mustache. So, i left it alone.
My hubby was not being mean. I know it kind of sounds like that but if I did have a big thick mustache going on and he didnt tell me, who is going to? Its like when I start getting a little chub and i dont notice. I would rather himsay something to me then not know at all. I am glad he says things like that to me, sometimes i dont notice untill he brings it to my attention.

I have light peach fuzz too. I shave mine every now and then.Mine is very light and it never grows back in darker or corser, just the same. I have dark skin so my fuzz wasn't really noticable, but when I work up a sweat dancing, the sweat would bead on my fuzz and glow against my skin.Thats why I shave it.

You'll probably only be able to shave so long, I'd probably wax or pluck that way it doesn't come back as much. I'm a dude and yes I get my brows done lol so I know about it.

Aculite, or little hair removing pads are the best things. or just old fashioned jolen.

Sally Hansen also has a really good hair remover and it only takes 8 minutes at the most

First off, go ahead and take the hair pills. I personally recommend Nioxin brand, they worked wonders for me! And well, if you start getting a little "thicker" around the lip, start waxing. I go in every two weeks like clockwork, it's so routine, it stops becoming a hassle.

careful if you wax it, my wife gets that done to her's, and it sometimes burns her, and leaves red splotches for a day. It might just be her skin though.

when i wax my lip or brows i break out ... so try it sometime you don't have a big event planned. hard wax is supposed to be better for this. i got it the same time i did my bikini, and that was a mistake. see an aesthetitian for facial hair.

I use Sally Hansen pre-waxed strips. You just rub them between your hands to warm up the wax, apply, and rip 'em off - hmm maybe "rip" wasn't the best word, sounds kinda painful. Anyways they come with a finishing oil that softens and conditions your skin. The whole process takes less than 5 min. and they're really convenient for traveling too.

A couple of tips: 1. Make sure to wash and dry the area to be waxed thoroughly first. 2. As soon as you remove the strips apply gentle pressure (with the palm of your hand or fingers) to the area you just waxed - it calms the nerve endings and really minimizes the pain.

Nair for the face is good. and it's really mild and there is no irritation. But you should use a face cream afterwards b/c your skin may become dry.
