About an hour south of the larger Colorado Springs metropolitan area. A couple hours removed from the closest major airport in Denver. A pretty stable community, with old politics grounded in steel mills, labor, and some mafia. The influx of some high-tech companies have had an influence. It's kind of a spread-out community. It's not as close to the Rocky Mountains as other Front Range cities, but nice trips are available with a bit of a car drive. There's a small presence of higher education there.
It's not the metropolitan experience. Pueblo forms the southern terminus of "civilization" in the Front Range of Colorado, with Fort Collins at the upper north end, then south to Longmont/Boulder, then Denver Metro, then Colorado Springs, then Pueblo. South of Pueblo, there ain't much at all until you hit Santa Fe and Albuquerque.

Plenty of free brochures available in Pueblo, as I recall.![]()
"He will come in one of the pre-chosen forms. During the rectification of the Vuldrini, the traveler came as a large and moving Torg! Then, during the third reconciliation of the last of the McKetrick supplicants, they chose a new form for him: that of a giant Slor! Many Shuvs and Zuuls knew what it was to be roasted in the depths of the Slor that day, I can tell you!"
Thankyou to Jay Zeno !
