I originally began dancing to find a husband. Almost all the girls I know are looking for dates. This selling dances thing is a super secret underground activity in which only a small percentage participate. And we plan to take over the world, one dance at a time. FBR has found us out. He must be dealt with.

I'm going to back up GoldCoastGirl with an excerpt from The Psychology of Selling (Brian Tracy). The Dancerwealth course definitely gave me a "winning edge."

One of the most important concepts ever discovered in the field of human performance is called the winning edge concept. This concept or principle states that "small differences in ability can translate into enormous differences in results." What it means is that if you become just a little bit better in certain critical areas of selling, it can translate into enormous increases in your sales. In fact, you may be on the verge of a major breakthrough in your sales results at this very moment just by learning and practicing something new and different from what you have done before. For example, if a horse comes in first by a nose, it wins 10 times the prize money of the horse that comes in second, even though the difference is only a nose, or perhaps a couple of inches, in a photo finish.

Does this mean that the horse that wins by a nose is 10 times faster than the horse that comes in second by a nose? Of course not! Is the horse that wins by a nose twice as fast, or 50 percent faster, or 10 percent faster? The answer is no. The horse that wins is only a nose faster, but it translates into 10 times the prize money.

By the same token, the salesperson who gets the sale for himself and his company gets 100 percent of the business and 100 percent of the commission. Does this mean that his product is 100 percent better than that of the competition or 100 percent cheaper? The fact is that the product may not even be as good, and it may cost even more than that of the competitor, but the top salesman gets the sale nonetheless. The person who gets the sale is, in most cases, not vastly better than the person who loses the sale. He or she merely has the winning edge, and that translates into 100 percent of the business.

The Dancerwealth seminar is the best thing you can do for yourself. I took the telecourse last April. My sales improved DRAMATICALLY in about a week, and have kept getting better from there. Now I have forgotten half of what was said, and I want to get the HSC. THe course in Vegas is not a financial possibility fo rme right now, but I would like to do it in the future.

I have been in Sales most of my adult life. My Dad, a salesman, taught me the assumptive close when I was about 10 years old selling girl scout cookies. I have taken a TON of sales training. DW still taught me a whole heap of things I didn't know. Although I adore Brian Trace and some other sales trainers ou there, they are not specific to our business.

if your really looking to make more money and don't know for sure if you want to spend that kind of money yet on the class then first i suggest working on you first.... a new makeover, new hair style/ color/ highlites ,working out, work on your body, tan ..etc...buy a few hot outfits, try new and different things with your looks and see what works for you... and working on your hustle at the club....your approach, things to say or not to say, being upbeat and positive, happy, energetic, friendly is always a good way to be , also work on getting more dances out of the customer after they buy one or two ...try these things first and see if they work and if your doing those things now then take the classes if you can afford to...i've heard alot of good things about the class and you've got nothing to loose......but the $1000 bucks.........LOL

Just ordered the home study course, I'm very excited about it. I'll let everyone know how it works out. Anyone done the home study or live seminar recently? How's it working out for everyone?

This morning in the car I was just thinking about how if I owned a club myself, I'd look into the costs of flying one of the DancerWealth people out to my club to do a local seminar. It would probably be expensive, but it would probably be a good deal for the club in the long run.
(It might not make sense to eat all the cost myself, but it might be a good idea to eat some of the cost in order to offer reasonable [comparable to seminar cost for Vegas locals] rates).

    Some time, some day, when I have a club. . . .
    Sigh.

PUT THAT COFFEE DOWN. Coffee is for closers.
Ah, I love me some Glengarry Glen Ross. ABC, always be closing, when in doubt, CLOSE HIM!!!

I think the principles of DW are extremely helpful, and you will do all the better if you combine them with highlighting and improving your best physical attributes. Sure, some of the top sellers I have seen would definately not fall under the category of "most men's fantasy" just by watching them walk by. If you can sell AND look like a fantasy with a firm body....then you're golden baby!! If you look like Barbie and havn't worked your people skills, you still have a foot in the door, improve now!!!

If you have neither, you're an anchor and only hired to pad the club's pocket,s quit now!!

The Home Study Course is pretty good. After I took the teleconference, my earnings doubled. The HSC bumped me up a little more. It has the advantage that I can listen to it as much as I want.

I still think the seminar will be well worth while. I hope they are still running the 2 for one special in the spring.

I occasionally work in a club, but I mainly work for a Bachelor Party company. I do Birthdays, job parties, and of course bachelor parties. Still, just like in the club there is competition to get the most tips etc. especially since there is no standard price, we set our own prices for every dance. So, one girl could leave a party with $800 and another girl could leave with $200. For those of you who have taken the Dancerwealth course, do you think it would still be a good course for me to take since I do mainly parties?

As someone who has ventured into private party dancing as well as still keeping a foot in the strip club aspect..... yes.

Alot of the skills you will learn you will be able to adapt to any situation even non-dancing situations.

This is what I have found none-the-less.

Granted, it is more suited to strip clubs than private party dancers. Just that whenever you work within a strip club, you can be guaranteed really good earnings.

Hmmm I don't think taking the course would be beneficial. At a club, there are set prices, and you have to make yourself stand out amongst all the other girls. In doing private shows/bachelor parties (which I too have done) it's not about that. At a bachelor party, you are their focus...you don't have to worry about them saying 'maybe later'.

I've noticed that the girl who makes $800 at a party vs. the girl who only makes $200 is more creative in her shows. What all do you do in your shows? Just lapdances? You need to develop a routine, figure out how long your gonna dance for the bachelor, best man etc. Then you gotta be on to make your $$$$

Diamond2004, I think it can help you too.
I believe the course is designed for regular strip club dancer b/c most of the clubs in the US are set up the same. Although, at my other 'modeling studio' place when I get them back to my room I can set wtvr price I want. I can either be cheap or exspensive.

Ive used aspects of the course to now make pretty consistant money (damn you super bowl sunday broke my streak). Instead of being all over the board every time I work; I now have a set goal in which I exceed or make often. This is mostly my personal experience after taking the course.

As you will notice at the website - it is a SALES orientated course. It will not teach you how to dance ... it will just teach you how to sell/hustle more effectively so your 'average' night is more than what it is now... so you can 'hustle' in any strip club environment.

If you want floor work and polework.. there are plenty of other websites that cover those aspects.

I'm stuck between buying the HSC or just taking the live class. I don't have money like that to spend since I'm in school. But I can't help but think of the money I could make from taking the class, and how I'll practically make that money back.

    Decisions, decisions...

I got mine yesterday morning, already listened to the first 3 cds. It said mine was copy 213 of 500, so I guess there are 387 left. I'm going to finish listening before work thursday, I'll let everyone know how it goes.
