    Default Calm for frizzy hair

I use a flat Iron on my hair now that I have a new style.

What is a good product that will help protect and calm my hair from being too frizzy. I use biolage shampoo and conditioner, but on certain days my blond-ness needs a bit more help in maintaining a sleek look.

Hi!You should try to use the alcohol free hair polishing serums, especially with a flat iron.Rub a small amount in when the hair is still damp after washing and conditioning.Keeps hair very sleek and shiny. You can get it at Sally's.

If you are in a city with a sephora you should try to get the straightening product by Jonathon. (the guy from the show blowout!) It works really well at taming frizzy hair. If you are not near a sephora, you could try Brilliant Emollient by Aveda.

I have always had horrible frizzy hair (when I blowdry it. If I let it dry naturally, it's fine). I tried just about everything before turning to the flat iron. I have to do quite a bit to get the whole shiny blowdried hair going on.

    *Wash/Condition with my normal stuff
    * 3-Minute Hair Mask (TarGhetto usually has it 2-for-$5)

Then I towel dry and use

    * (About $6) ~ Hair Serum. I SWEAR by this stuff. You can get it at any store I think, but I get it at Walgreens.

Then finally, I blowdry and flat iron.

LOL it's a long process, but it works.

I use this serum called Tex smoothing serum, you can get it at most salons, or probably Sally Hansons, or beauty supply.

I use Phyto, Phyto defrisant botanical hair relaxing balm. After u come out of shower you run it through your hair then comb it thru. Perfect!

I have always had frizzy hair, and i've only recently discovered the perfect product -
    Jojoba oil!

Just 1/2 teaspoon of pure jojoba oil, smoothed through the ends of my hair then brushed gently every day. My hair has never been so smooth, and jojoba mimics the body's natural sebum (oil) so it won't upset the PH balance or make your hair greasy.

You don't need it on the scalp, just the mid section and ends. It washes out easily, and is good for your hair.

    Kiwi products!!!

I have very curly hair. I straighten it when I have to. But Ive learned how to pull off the curls over the years.

I use the leave in Kiwi stuff , along with mousse ( bedhead )

    blow dry with a defuser

then I run the kiwi serum through my hair and straighten it.

with the combo of the mousse and serums it works well. It calms all the frizz.

The kiwi line isn't heavy, so you can use it without buildup or greasiness. it's not heavy in the least. i swear by this stuff.

I just chopped my hair a few months ago..but here is my natural curl and me now even processed down to blonde etc.

I 2nd the Phyto stuff http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P2895 I bought it a few months ago and use it to straighten and de-frizz. Its great cuz it has silicone in it so it weights hair down a bit but not too much.
I usually put it on wet hair then straighten.

I have straight hair but it can get kind of frizzy. I recently bought an ionic hairdryer and it actually does seem to make my hair more smooth and less frizzy.

Garnier Fructis also has a good "Sleek-n-Shine" serum that tames frizzies well. It seems to be diluted and in a pump form, so you put a quarter-sized amount all over your hair, rather than the ones that advise trying somehow to work a scant couple drops through your whole head and risk leaving your hair greasy if you overdo it.
