Default A great way to shave 'down there'

Okay... seeing as im french/italian dark regrowth of 'down there hair' happens like super fast and if I shave it all the time i get rashes and cuts and it just doesnt look pretty. So after having a failed attempt at waxing I decided to try something different.
The day before I shave I rubbed some azulene oil over the area I was shaving... next day I shaved(was actually able to shave up) then rubbed more oil in after and do it daily... before I started this I had regrowth like daily that was noticable(I hate being european heh) now I can shave every other day and it stays smooth and non irritated...
I dunno I just thought id share my sucess story with those of you who are wimps like me and cant wax... like seriously those of you who can I envy you.. i tried and I was in tears and acutally ended up bleeding... not cool.

What is this oil, and where can it be found?

The oil is actually the same oil you use to clean up after waxing... but it also works for softening the hair and its for relieving irritation and helps prevent ingrown hair and slows down hair growth. You can find it at any drug store where wax is sold.

Cally, Thanks for a great tip. I, like you, am of European descent, so I have that horrible dark hair down there that seems to come back twice as dark and twice as fast the day after I shave (and waxing...fuggedaboudit!)
I ordered some of that Tend Skin stuff that other ladies had recommended but if that doesn't do the trick, I will try your suggestion

Bikinizone also makes a good "aftershave" lotion that cuts out (some) of the red. Thanks for the other tip, though. I HATE shaving down there!

How about bleeding 'down there'? I've found...

When it's 'that time of the month,' I don't miss a dollar using my little menstrual cup! Any of you ladies heard of it? Anybody use it too!? It's the reusable silicone version, not the rubber one (latex intolerant). It is so cool. No strips, no strings, no leaks* (depends on a few things--proper insertion, tightness of vaginal muscles, etc.), and no odor. I feel SEXY on my period these days. I got mine online at

holy crap lol. so when you put it in...does it like.. bounce open or something? can you feel it? how long do you usually keep it in for? thats amazing lol. I'm seriously in shock and I dunno why haha. I think I would try it.. but not like for the first time at work. I could see myself putting it in and jumping around my house with jumping jacks and cartwheels lol.

Can the menstrual cup cause TSS like tampons can?

Heres a tip, besides EXPENSIVE bikini zone, also try stubble preventure for BLACK men aftershave, it's in the shaving products for afro american, try any major drug store or Wal mart, kmart etc. that works 10 times better an it's a bit cheaper per gram than bikini zone.

I'm a caucasian male an it works everywhere. don't know if it'll work with women as well or too well.

menstrual cups have a much much lower rate of tss than tampons because they dont absorb anything, they just catch it. the risk is practically non-existent and the non-absorption aspect is sooooo much better for your kitty's ph levels and the latex doesnt cut you up inside like tampons (usually made with a rayon/cotton mix that causes tiny cuts when inserting/removing) do.

My trick of the trade (doesn't help with regrowth though... only redness and bumps) is to use men's deoderant/antipersperant. I know it sounds crazy, but it dries everything up (just like a mans armpit... haha). Get some that is unscented so you don't smell like a man down there and apply it liberaly. Thats my two cents.
