Default First night...some nice gentleman wants to "take me away from it all"...sigh

So, seriously. What is up with these guys:

"You're too good/classy for this...I know I just met you, but I'd really like to see you get out of this..."

Don't they realize that's an INSULT? Since I don't plan on stopping any time soon does that make me "trash" just like all the others? Do they think this is going to get them laid? I can't figure out their motivation.

PS, my first night back in a club in 7 years and I am f-ing SORE.

Im lucky I havnt had the 'your to nice for this'
I just get the 'I hope you have plans for something better in your life because your to much of a level headed person to be in this industry' I guess thats kind of the 'your to nice for this speach'. I just laugh and say 'yes this is my short term plan for life now lets go dance so I can get out of it quicker'

Btw... I know what you mean about the pain... I have bruises all over my knees from rolling around on stage for my stage show...my shoulders are sore from the pole and my legs are on fire from my shoes... plus I have open wounds on my feet from the tops of my shoes digging in and cutting them open
Congrats on going back after such a long break

I hate people who say shit like that. I will walk away from them, immediately. How dare they judge me... they're the looser who is paying to be in the club, and I'm the one making money off of them, so who's really laughing at the end of the night? Exactly.

    That *did* cheer me up!

Oh yes, Callie! That was almost an exact quote from this guy..."I hope you at least have plans for something better for yourself..." Yes, I do. I'm going to take all your money, and then his, and then his, and then retire at fucking 35 and live a life of luxury.

And thanks for the kudos on getting back into it! I quit clubs the first time because I was naive and didn't know how to hustle and wasn't making a lot of money. But, these boards and Brian Tracy are taking care of that Maybe someday I'll take all of this knowledge and get a "real" job...

Fuck. If I wanted to be judged I'd go to church.

I don't know how many marriage proposals I got and how many times someone would tell me that they would "save me from this all". It gets very annoying...but at the same time...it tipped me off that they would spend more money being that they were all hot and heavy about me.

I had some loser offer me $100,000 to have his baby the other night... "No, I'm really serious..." Shut-up maniac!!!!

I usually tell people when they say "too good for this" that I like to live a certain lifestyle and this allows me to do that.

They're so full of shit. I've seen these lines immediately followed by a solicitation for OTC sex acts. So, you think I'm to good to be dancing but I'm good enough to fuck you for a whopping $300 dollars? What the hell does that mean?

I hate when they ask why I "have" to strip. I don't have to do a single damn thing I don't want to do. Why do I "have" to be at a strip club? Gee, I don't know, why do YOU have to go to a strip club? Could it be because you are such a PL no one wants to undress for you for free?

Yeah yeah yeah. The 'take you away from all this' invites for a private cruise of the Med, a private ski trip to a Tahoe chalet, you name it ... all wind up the same way. Put out or get out (at your own expense).

Customer: You're too [sweet, smart, nice, whatever] for this job. I'd love to help you get away from all this.
Me: You think I'm nice?? [as I deep throat a beer bottle] Why don't we go back to VIP and I'll show you what a dirty bitch I can be?

That should get the conversation moving in the right direction. I might throw in a couple of f-words just to look more trashy at that point .

I might get the dance, or he will quit wasting my time, and find a more innocent girl to talk to for free.

There are several ways to interpret the request. They might think you're dissatisfied with your work and seeking someone who can provide for you. On the other hand they might just want to play sugar daddy. SC's are the place for fantasies and some people just try playing theirs out. My advice is to give them the benefit of the doubt as to their intentions and gently lower them back to reality.

I didn't know what to say , my first 3 nights . The guys were saying: "I see you as a model, not a dancer". "You're too sweet to be working here, do you need a man to take care of you?". I was like : "Why, do the other dancers attack you?" and :"How about I pay you and you only get naked for me forever?" I still get the whole: "You should model, you're so tall and pretty.......", but I just reply that I used to do runway(which is true), but I like this kind of modelling ,its sexier.

Another thing about when guys say, "Oh I want to take you away from this." Is that really nice? Nooo....aren't they really saying, "If you fuck me, I'll pay all your bills" ? Exactly.

haha, i almost love those conversations because when we're in the locker room talking about our nights there is nothing better than laughing about those guys.

not everyone wants to get "swept" off their feet into a "better life"... many girls are in this business because they love the independence they get from dancing... they don't have to rely on guys to take them away from all of it.... every story is different and some girls would love to find a guy who would financially support them enough so that they wouldn't have to dance, but then again i think the majority of dancers are all about being self sufficient and independent...

The problem with a lot of guys is that they just don't "get it". I have been a DJ at 6 major metroplitan clubs over the past 10 years, so I am the one that gets to hear girls venting about the dumb BS that guys shell out. I gotta tell ya, guys in general are retards that are slaves to the male sex drive....I tell every dance the same thing, "I know they are retards, but go easy if you can, all these things would never happen if women weren't so damn sexy! Ignore him for a while and give hime one last chance at getting to know you over a dance later, thats really all you can do".
