Hi Pure, I'm wondering the same thing too. I'm hoping there will be some helpful responses but I am probably going to check out this club sometime soon this month with my bf. If it helps any, it was featured for a minute or so on "Party at the Palms" lol! The two girls were wearing cocktail/clubbing party dresses in white and black and they were like 9-10 on a level of 1-10. I was reading the reviews on Jaguars since that's what this club was but I don't think it really helps at all.
It wasn't that great. I worked there one night and management sucks...they are really high strung and b/c it is the new place in town they treat the girls like shit. You have to be there by 6 or expect to pay a hefty house fee. It is however prone to bringing in the high rollers (you have to buy a bottle unless you want to stand the whole night). I am not the best source of info on this place b/c I only worked one night....but there are plenty of other laidback clubs in Vegas that bring in $

I've worked there for the last 7 months and I love it..
The dress code sucks but is understandible

You're right about the management. Collectively, they are all jerks. Essentially, it's the same bunch of arrogant wannabe big-shots from Spearmint Rhino that were hired away from that club to come in and run Scores. They fired all the cool guys who used to work there when it was Jaguars because they weren't part of the fraternaty.Originally Posted by onyx757

How long is the shift that requires you to be there by 6pm ? What is the house fee ?
Can someone give some examples of the dress code.
Thanks !

you can work as many hours as you want.
there are no shifts so to speak.
but the minimium is 6 hours as it is with most vegas clubs.
dress code example... gowns (not prom but stripper gowns), cocktail dresses, long stripper skirts with matching tops.. no bikinis at all, no booty shorts etc etc etc
I've worked there a handful of times, it's okay,
What I didn't enjoy was that it was stuck up. They put you through this big ordeal just to audition there, which was REALLY annoying...and I've been at some wierd auditions out here...but this is what happened when I auditioned at Score's...
I had to check in with the house mom, who gave me the evil eye. She wouldn't let me lock my belongings in a locker, but promised to "watch" them. Great. Then she also held my sherrif's card and driver's liscence while I auditioned, which I also didn't like. It's one thing for the club you work at to hold your card, but for some random woman to just take all of my paper work while I'm auditioning... I didn't like it.
Then, the management lined all the girls up who were auditioning, and made us each do half a song on this little stage. It was just wierd.
I don't think I'm describing it right, but it really put a bad taste in my mouth.
I made okay money the couple nights I worked there. I should go back and give it another try.
is the dress code indicitave of most vegas clubs? I have never been there and want to prepare. Also,do you apply for the sheriffs card or what? Does it take some time to get or is it a quick thing?

go to any club and get a sherrif's card referrel because you cant get one without it.
it takes a few hours, also get a business liscense which doesnt take long at all.
the dress code depends on the club.
come to scores though, it's great.
Scores managment is much nicer then the Rhino's.
I have heard this!Originally Posted by Vegas_Mentor

ok, I've been working there recently and I like it. Over all Managment is the nicest there as opposed to the other clubs in this town. But you have to spend money to make money. Meaning tip out the floor host guys and they will send you to tables, but you have to continue to kick them back some cash. Other wise you will be black balled! Really. But that's just how things work in this town. And if they were not sending you to the table you would have not made that money to beging with. So you just have to suck it up and do it. In the long run, it's a good thing to "make friends" there.
The dress code sucks but it's also for the best. Makes everyone look nicer than the other clubs. Like we care more about our appearance. Which over all is good. The customers seem to treat you better when you and everyone else is in a nice long dress, or nice outfit. Sends a message that this is a nice place, don't try any shit here man! Ha! And the 50 goons in suits walking around also sends that same message. LOL!
I have worked in Vegas for the last 9 years off and on. I normally do not like working here. But I live here full time now and I have to make it work. So far it's going well. I like the club and I have not had nor seen any issues with the other ladies there. Its *extremely* cut throat here but they are here to make money not friends. The girls seem to busy trying to make money than anything else. Everyone seems to keep to them selves.
The house mom, the main one, I recognized from Club Paradise from a long time ago. Back then she was not so nice to me. Now she is. Not sure why. I can see how she can rub someone the wrong way. She is intimidating as well. What she says goes in that place. Her word is gold to managment. So it's good to be friendly to her. I would not want her nor anyone, in that club on my bad side.
All in all I like Scores way better than any other club I have ever worked at in this city. Money seems to be decent for this bad time of year, so when things pick up it'll be sick money I'm told. So just hang in there. It's a nice respectable place. And if the employess are not overly friendly at first, just hang in there. Maybe once they see you more often and know you are not a fly by night dancer they might open up a bit more. And like I said, tipping always helps at making friends in this business.
Good luck! = )
