Honestly I have the same issue. I would have to shave everyday in order to stay smooth and the more I shave, the more irritated I am. Waxing is so painful and I even bleed. Are those hair removing lotions any good for that area. Also, anyone ever tried those electric razors for hair on your legs?
Try that Veet razorless stuff, I've used it once so far and then put bikini zone on afterwards, didn't bother my skin a bit and I have very sensitive skin down there.![]()
I have the same problem with shaving... i found my trick as stated in another post yesterday. I found the veet/nair though caused a lot of irritation.

I tried regular Nair for your nether regions and it didnt work. My fur just wasnt taken it. It sorta burned too cuz you had to leave it on longer as the bottle told me so.
I was just gonna say there Urea in Veet. Urea is also in cigarettes and is an ingredient that causes an ammonia-like smell and can also lead to irritation.

Don't fear Urea across the board; while you don't want to smoke it, it has its purposes. You wouldn't want to smoke lanolin, soap, or moisturizing microbeads either but they're okay for use on skin.Originally Posted by TigersMilk
Urea is also commonly used in repairing and anti-aging lotions and prescription topical medications. It's a naturally occurring substance (think of a bodily fluid of similar name) and can be icky to sniff or think about, but is highly beneficial to the body in certain applications.
As for Nair on the nether-regions, I have sparse, fine hair down there (I'm half Hawaiian and tend to be of the more hairless variety) and it worked for me. I never settled on a brand or a common practice, though, as it also somehow took off my tan with the hair. Apparently the top layers of my skin immediately below the belt are vulnerable to depillatories.
I used Niar and I loved it but over time it really started to irritate my skin. I just shave now and use PFB vanish it's a great skin topical for ingrown hairs, razor bumps and skin inflammation.
I couldn't begin to imagine putting a razor blade to places I couldn't see. I've used Nair for about two and a half years now. It causes a bit of a burn but that fades in a few hours and it must be comparable to nicks, ingrown hairs and razor burn. Just make sure you do it at least a few hours before your shift (I get into the shower immediately after, which washes away any residue) or preferably the day before. God almighty, do NOT spray perfume on your crotch unless it's been a few hours. Stings like a mother. Once a week is good to go for me.

The electric shavers for 'down there' require that you trim back the pubic hair to a certain length so that it can adequately shave the region... or for you to shave and then use it on the 'next day' growth (stubble).
Here's an example of one I have purchased in the past here however since I'm a waxer (and prefer to wax)... I hardly use it.

how do you stand the pain of waxing, kudos to any women who can!! My hair down there is so thick and dark (Im european), theres like 3 hairs coming out of one follicle. It hurts sooo bad especially down the middle. I tend to use mens shaving products since the hair on their face is also dark and brittle...a little disgusting but its similar to coochie hair

A little off-topic but I will answer... easily as I have been waxing pretty regular since I was 12 years of age and I'm now 27.... I wax my upper leg once a month (as it's really smooth and fine now), my lower leg once a fortnight (as it grows back sparse), my underarms once a week or fortnight (as it grows back finer - looks like just a shaving shadow in club lighting), my eyebrows once a fortnight (as once again it grows back slower).... the only part of me done almost weekly (if possible) is bikini.how do you stand the pain of waxing
Yes, it hurts however since I've been thru that pain for over a decade... it's easy to get over plus the actual pain doesn't last all that long since it is over and done in 10 minutes.
Okay... back to your regularly scheduled programming.
BTW, my waxer told me that diplilatory (sp?) creams are like shaving so there is no real difference. In the end, invest in one of those electric bikini shavers (like I posted about previous). Just beware that they aren't effective if you have more than just 'stubble' length hair in your pubic region.

i used nair on my underarms once and followed the directions to a T, but it dissolved the skin, and I had to walk around with bandages on for a few weeks. i would NEVER put that stuff near my cooch!
