    Default Colour contacts

I was thinking about buying a pair of colour contact just for a change. Does anyone know the name of this brand that doesn't need a prescription? I remember reading the ad in Cosmo but I can't find it right now.
Also, do they look natural? I've got green eyes (prety dark though) but I wanted to buy either blue or hazel, I get bored looking the same every day lol
    Thanks!

I don't know about the non-prescription type but I wear contacts. I too have green eyes and tried the blue color, and no it does not look natural, but it's still pretty and fun.

You can visit www.cibavision.com they have all of the different kinds and colors, you can check out which color would be best for you. Sometimes I wear the Colorblends Pure Hazel and they look good. Good Luck!!!

I wanted to get color contacts since my eyes are dark brown and wanted something lighter, but dont you have to get measured at the doctors office first?

I brought some coloured contacts online and they didn't fit my eyes properly - they were too big. So I went to my optician who got me a better fitting brand. Usually if you pay a small fee you can get a trial pair.

How hard is it to put them in??? I have been kinda curious about this too... But I am not sure if I could handle sticking my fingers in my eye???

Can you use them if you have longer fingernails (i.e. tips)?

I'll also give freshlook (color blends, though) a thumbs up. They are made by Wesley Jenson(sp?). The "color blends", as opposed to the "Colors", look more natural, because they are...blended Its worth getting the exam, because uncomfortable contact lenses are a pain in the azz! Once you have the exam, and fitting, the HAVE to release your script to u, which means you don't have to buy your lenses at your dr.'s office for those high prices. I order my refills online www.coastalcontacts.com I've also ordered from www.1800contacts.com Have fun, and remember to adjust your make-up accordingly!

LOL aww bella your so cute... its funny because people ask me the same thing about wiping my butt when i have long tips on.

Anyhoo just like wiping your arse it should be no problem with longer fingernails. When i first wore coloured lenses (age 13) it took me 2 hours just to put in the first one but after the 3rd or 4th time it got easier and it would take me just minutes. With like anything the more you do it the easier it is.

I just bought some green contacts on eBay. Tried putting them in last night for the first time... I stood there for like 2 hours and just couldn't get them in. Then right before bed I got one in. Then I couldn't get it out so I panicked and accidentally pinched my eyeball. I got it out eventually though. They looked REALLY cool... and I'm sure I'll get the hang of it eventually.
