What is making you hoarse?
My MySpace Page:
When you perform... you are out of yourself--larger and more potent, more beautiful. You are for minutes heroic. This is power. This is glory on earth. And it is yours, nightly.

Oh I can SO help you here. I have a degree in opera!
There are these throat drops that are really good. They are called slippery elm. You can get them for sure at a health food store. They taste pretty gross but they work. Get the original, not the cherry. Also you can try a mixture of brandy and honey. It works the best for me. Just mix it like in a coffee cup and take 2-3 spoonfulls.
Hope you feel better soon.

There are a few options:
Lemon and ginger tea - slice up some fresh ginger, steep it for a few minutes in hot water, add sugar and lemon.
Gargle with a mixture of warm water, vinegar, and salt— clears out all of the mucous.
The one thing they tell you when you've lost your voice is NOT to whisper—apparently it is worse for your vocal cords than actually talking. You might enjoy not talking..I do!![]()
try getting a bowl of hot water, put some menthol drops inside (you can get at a pharmacy) tip your head over the bowl with a large towel over your head and inhale the vapors. There are also special inhalators for this but its much cheaper to do it this way. It really helps, I do it when I get a cold or something and lose my voice
Thanks for all the suggestions! I'll implement some of them.
Go to the doctor. I had a problem being hoarse and completely losing my voice, i tried the at home remedies and it took like 3 weeks to get over, after another month i lost it again. I didn't wanna go to the dr. b/c i have no insurance. I broke down and went, i was fine in 2 days. They will most likely give you free samples of the meds or prescribe cheap ones, if you don't have ins.
