If the club and customers are fine with it I say go for it. Exercise is definately good. The baby's umbilical cord will NOT wrap around the baby's neck doing spins and pole tricks. Babies in the stomach are very well protected and babies in general are much stronger and resilent than you would realise. As far as smoke and alcohol goes the baby gets the filtered best of what the mother puts in, yes it's best to avoid smoke etc but what is idealistic and what is realistic are two different stories I rode horses competively right up until two weeks before giving birth and was back at it a week later. I didn't even have a noticable bump until 5 months, and my body was back to pre birth condition within days(except for a saggy tummy which took a few months to return to normal) Being fit and staying fit is good for mums physical and mental health which is in turn good for baby. A mother is more in need of time off work in the weeks after giving birth and having to adjust to the very scary, exciting and demanding job of being a mum.
