I already tried a search but nothing even close came up. I was shocked but figured maybe they were too old to come up or something.

I suggest reading the forums at http://www.modelmayhem.com/forums.php and www.onemodelplace.com for a TON of informattion. It helps to get you started and know what the rates are in your area after you got your feet down in it.

Thanks Ti, that is a great site. It reminds me of ours only for models instead of strippers. I just glanced but i think it will be very helpful.

    Modelmayhem is great...OMP is ok

first thing u need is a portfolio. Likely, you will want to pay a few photographers (different styles, etc) to get a quality one. Sometimes u can luck out getting a student or professional to do it as "TRADE FOR PRINTS" - basically building both of your portfolios. I know a great such photographer in northeastern PA

Then, look on craigslist/mm/etc for gigs, and consider sending out headshots to agencies and production houses

"traditional" modeling portfolios (for non adult work) is NOT supposed to be nude...and a photog should never "trade for sex" though some will try

Paying a photographer is not always necessary. Ha, I've been modeling for a few months now and I haven't paid ANYONE!! You can find excellent photographers willing to work with new models for TFP/CD. Just review their work and figure out if what they do, compliments you, or the type of model you are trying to become.

Yes, I have only just started getting into modelling but already have a fantastic portfolio. I did it on a 'trade' basis. What this means is you need to find a photographer who is willing to do it but what he/she does is take photos for your portfolio and gives them to you for free. In exchange they use you for whatever projects they are working on. For exampke my photographer needed a model for an art book he is featuring in. The model needed to be topless...dressed like a warrior (all very tasteful). Of course I had no problem doing this. It works for them as usually a topless model would be hard to find and cost them money...in this way it only costs them the time to take your photos.
