    Default Bumps???

Okay, after working for the past two weeks and giving many many dances my legs and right under my rear to the bottom of my rear are starting to break out with red bumps!! AHHH!! Does anyone know any tricks to get rid of them? I'm guessing most of them are sweat bumps but they could also be being caused by the irritation of rubbing against different materials all damn night.
Anyone else have this problem when they started? What can i do to get rid of them?

Tyr to keep the area dry as much as you can. If you have to wash it w/ anit bacterial soap. Dont use any irratating stuff on it. Hypoallergenic stuff only back there. um ..hrm..wear clean shorts n stuff.

When I give lapdances I usually rub on some alcohol a couple of times throughout the night. I also use a scrub (bath and body works or the body shop) in the tub and shower.

It helped me a lot because at one point in time I noticed that my skin in that area was beginning to get a little rough and bumpy.

But I definitely keep alcohol around and if nothing else works.... one girl also told me that she puts a little bit of bleach in her bath water weekly. I don't know how effective that is but she says it kills a lot of germs and she doesn't experience any type of infections or skin irritations. I have not done my research on this about any possible side effects but you are welcome to do your own.

Bring a booty towel with you around the club. The chairs are nasty so if your butt cheeks sit on the chairs, that stuff gets on your cheeks. I sit on a bar towel.

^^^^ Exellent idea... I do this as well as do all the other girls at my club. I cant imagin why anyone woulnt want to. Who knows what is on the guys lap and the bar chairs and ick. I have mine marked so the same side is always down and im always sitting on the same side. A bar towel or hand towel or even hankercheif(however its spelled) work great. Make sure its large enough to cover enough area that your not rubbing on the guys pants at all. Also I carry around a small bottle of hand sanatiser(you know the stuff for inbetween hand washes) I rub my hands and heiny after each guy. Maybe im a little extreme but seriously you dont know where these guys have been.

Antibacterial baby wipes after every stage show and lapdance. Just on your butt, though! Don't let them anywhere near your kitty or you will kill off the good bacteria and wind up with a yeast infection. That goes for antibacterial body wash and antibacterial ANYTHING.

That "bleach in the bathwater" idea that nikkip just posted sounds like an awful idea. I can't imagine a better way to give yourself some serious yeast infections and who knows what else. Seems like it would irritate your skin, too.

Have you been sliding on your ass on the stage? You can use some diaper rash cream on it. Also, Aveeno has cream that is supposed to be anti-itch but it works for folliculitis too. If it gets worse and is red then use a yeast infection cream on it before you go to bed.

Make sure that you are using an antibacterial wipe on your butt and the backs of your legs every time you go into the dressing room.

I'm a new dancer as well, and this is my second week and I too have noticed little red bumps in the areas you mentioned. Glad you asked this question, because I had no idea what was happening. Wondering if I was allergic to something (though I didn't change anything) and new it wasn't razor burn because it doesn't really look like razor burn and I also don't get razor burn.
So thank you for asking the question, and thanks to those that have responded. The past few days I have been using diaper rash cream which I kinda just thought of on my own, but the new tip that I didn't think of was the baby wipes. Thanks guys!

If you guys want to see something disgusting, take a damp cloth and wipe the stage. Its freaking nasty! That dirt gets on your booty when you sit down or lay down (check the back of your arms) and clogs the pores and produces those nasty lil bumps! Get some hand sanatizer and rub it on your booty, back of arms after every set! It should keep them from coming

    Could it be rugburn?
I used to powder my rear with covergirls skin clearing formula(just dont go heavy or you'll powder the guys clothes if you choose to grind). That helps two ways, one, it keeps the area dry(from increased sweating), and provides a barrier for bacteria or chafing.

Those are most likely clogged pores unless there are signs of infection. If there is generalized inflammation, oozing, weeping, etc going on- see a dermatologist.

I do not recommend antibacterial soaps or wipes- if you have to use one, use a witch hazel wipe.
Witch hazel is an astringent with anti-inflammatory properties. Most of them contain alcohol which will give you the needed boost in terms of knocking out germs.

    Short but brief info:

Also, you can get irritation/clogged pores from repeated use of lotion and fragrance. If you want to reapply lotion, you might want to get a cleansing cloth and do a quick wipedown before you re-apply. Otherwise, you're layering lotion on top of bacteria and dirt.

Also, when you get home, wash your body with gentle cleanser to remove everything (smoke, sweat, oil, products, germs) from the club.

Thanks everyone that replied! I am pretty sure that the bumps are from irritation of rubbing on guys' pants as well as sitting on the darn chairs at work! I'm most certaintly going to make sure i always have a booty towel now! As well as make sure to constantly wipe my rear off when i get a chance!
I am using diaper rash ointment as well, so far so good, it was a suggestion from my pole instructor. She used to dance and said that it's the best way to get rid of it. (She also got to see it in person today lol) Hopefully it works well! Thanks for all the advice!

I also recomend if you do floor work on stage to take a blanket... not a huge one just like those throw blankets for chairs or something. Almost all the girls at my club are doing this if they do floor work... you just throw it down and roll around on it on stage. The stage is nasty... also take a cloth and wipe the pole before you do pole work.

Lol i hope our stage isn't that nasty! I've never had any visible marks on me from it thankfully, and i'd probably fall and hurt myself on a blanky hahaha! I'm not really coordinated yet on the floor lol. As for the pole, heck yea we always wipe if down with alcohol before we start our dance! I don't want to be slipping off of it or getting shit all over me! They actually keep things pretty clean at the club i work at. I think it would be interesting to try a dance with a blanket on the ground.

Most stages are nasty.. when you think about it... how many girls have been rolling around on that stage naked before you? Just practise with a blanket at home for a bit... its not that hard, and it actually will make your stage show easier and you can do neat things. Like lay down on it on your back and spin, you can spin on your knees. It also helps you prevent bruising and rub marks on your knees. Practise on your kitchen floor(probably the closest thing you'll get to a stage like surface in your house). Trust me its easier then it looks! Also when you try to crawl on the stage keep it under your knees. You can also use it for other parts of your show. Like wrap it around you like a skirt/dress twirl it around.. use it as a prop, things will come to you
