I got it from the library yesterday. I've only read like 10 or so pages. So far so good though.

ok you guys have convinced me to check it out! heading to amazon now
I just bought it too! Awesome subtle tricks!
I Am Conserving Grace For A Later Time.

Just bought it off of amazon along with the dancerwealth home study course.
Hopefully I will be ballin'.

Time for me to join the Library me thinks unless someone is willing to give me this book in exchange for one of my books (do a trade) or give it to me for $10 AUD incl postage costs ???

^^ Nevermind about that last post. I found a decent 2nd hand copy at a decent price so I bought it. I read a short bit last night at work... only a short bit. Used it... and um.. yeah.. woha! I made money!
I definately recommend this book! Add it to your "must have" list of books on "sales" for exotic dancers! It's perfect as we are professional flirts...
I'm going to have to give it a good read one day and then print out (after scanning) the bits that I find relevant and useful.

i got mine off Amazon for about $5! it's pretty awesome! don't get "Super date" tho, i got that one too and its just a copy of "superflirt" but not as good...![]()
Another book that's really great "Psychology of Selling" by Brian Tracy
And an oldy: "How to Make Friends and Influence People"

I agree with your list. I was just wanting to give an update in this thread as it has really invigorated my hustle a lot more than the other two books have helped.
I honestly feel this book helps a lot mixed with the other two books. Knowing how to sell is one thing, this book (SUPERFLIRT) just gives you that one up as such ... esp. considering we need to know how to flirt effectively so we can get that money!![]()

This book was recommended a couple years ago. I bought it and didnt like it but if it works for others - sweeeeeeeeeet!

The thread about influencing people reminded me of this book. I've been feeling the need to revamp my hustle. I became all business, like I wouldn't even flirt or be nice till I knew they were going to spend. I have the sales skills down but I was all, "show me the money", before I would even get sexy.
Anyways, I re-read this book last week and totally revamped myself! Helped me understand how to use body language and to better exude sensual confidence (among other nonverbal ques) while selling.
Excellent resource so time for a thread bump!

^Maybe I should crack the book back out and try again. I tried reading it once, and I couldn't get into it.
Did re-reading the book help you gain your flirty hustle style back?

The layout is a bit off-putting... looks almost like a very well-designed tip sheet from Cosmo.Other than that, it does provide a lot of great tips.

^ Yes!!
I had become totally mechanical and all about how much I was getting paid. Which of course is the goal but that's all I was exuding to customers.
I wasn't into it as much the first time around but this time totally connected with me, probably cuz I needed it more.

I thought she had some great advice, especially for someone as socially awkward as myself. The section about meeting an SO's friends, how to get involved in a group conversation by consciously using your body language -- pure gold!
Some of it was a total stretch -- a lot of the panoramic images she has where she breaks them down into discrete chunks of body language just didn't make sense to me. Maybe if she stayed consistent with the photography she used!
...but yeah. For learning everything but what to say, I liked it!As with anything there's a lot of nonapplicable stuff to slog through... but then again, there's a lot of nonapplicable stuff in the Psychology of Selling about being in the client's kitchen.

I got the "duh" feeling when I did Dancer Wealth because a lot of it I already knew from Hustle Hut but there was something that was amazingly helpful about having it spoon fed to me.
I just bought superflirt and have just started reading it. The first part is about smiling, and walking with confidence: back straight and chin up. Yeah, I already knew this, but a nicely laid out reminder is always very helpful.

What are some other tips that you guys found most useful when put into action??
So far I like it, but I haven't used any of the tips yet. I love the library, yay for free books.

Yeh girls what are the good tips for those of us who are not into reading - reading for uni has turned me off reading.
There are many stereotypes about the industry that I work in. Sometimes they can be true but human beings are very diverse creatures and cannot be pigeon-holed into one category.
Some of the most effortlessly beautiful, kind, intelligent, successful, motivated, driven and ridiculously hilarious women that I have ever met have been dancers. I've met the best friends that I've ever had in this industry.
You might want to check it out anyway, jaiz... it is very visually heavy with lots of photos and most of the text is in bullet lists...

^^
thanks. that sounds ok then.
