    Default Peach Fuzz

You know the peach fuzz hair we have on our faces? I seem to be getting more of it as I head towards the big 3-0. Yes, that's the fun of aging - your tits sag, your ass drops, and you get hairier. Yay.

Anyway, I feel like the peach fuzz makes foundation and concealer obvious, so what's the best way to get rid of it? I'm scared to wax, and shaving always causes razor bumps. Does anybody else depilate their face to get rid of the peach fuzz?

I would try using a different foundation and powder, some of them seem to stick to hair more obviously than others. Put lotion of your face before you apply make up that might wet it down a bit so the make up does not stick to it.

I want to get rid of mine too. I went to this spa once and the lady who worked there told me that there is a procedure that gets rid of the facial hair(the fuzzy type) and treats acne. I want to look more into it. If I do, i'll let you know.

Get rid of the fuz, or it will cause black heads...If you've used bior strips on nose, chin, whatever, for black heads, then you have nothing to fear of sallyhansons facial strips of sugar wax. It costs 5-10 bucks, and is totally worth it to take care of your skin.
I use cover girl, and it doesn't mess with face hairs as much as others do(b4 I started waxing/tweezing it regularly). Also, if its only showing after you sweat, try using aussi freeze spray over makeup to set it, and it will blend the make up into face..try it at home in case you don't like it.

I've always had peach fuzz on the side of my chin, near my ears. I was told it was a symbol of beauty??? It's very, very blonde even though I have dark brown almost black hair. I can understand the frustration with foundation though. I don't use any but I would imagine than it would cake in that area.

I am sure you can have electrolysis or IPL hair removal on it, but it would cost you. I would think if you start waxing the fuzz off it will grow back darker and thicker, eck, you definately don't want that!

Juliette De Sade posted that she shaves peach fuzz as an exfoliation trick. I started doing that too.
Asian women shave their faces- I forget which countries, but it's common over there. & Aren't there some lotions with a substance that lessens hair regrowth?

I highly recommend NOT shaving your face. For those of us with hairy-tendencies, it will only make it 1000x worse.

Sally's carries a gentle face bleach which would at least lighten up the hair. I have used it on my dog's face to clear up the tearing stains and she had no problem. I know that isn't a great comparison though. I pluck the longer hair coming out of my face including my eye brows and also tan which lightens the fine hair on my arms and butt. I wouldn't recommend shaving it though. We have hair on our bodies naturally to protect us from the earth's ailments, btw. So, don't consider yourself abnormal. Some people just have more than others. We have a lot ethnic diversity at our club and I notice the Russian and South American girls have more course hair on their bodies. The Hungarian girls don't shave at all because the hair is so fine and blonde on their bodies. I shave my armpits and from the lower thigh down. And of course pubic area. Sometimes a hormone imbalance can cause that as well. If you have too much testosterone you can have more course hair on your face. I would check that out too. Hope this helps some. Sorry to rant on.

shaving or waxing does not make hair grow thicker. In fact, waxing can make hair grow thinner. The reason hair looks thicker post-shaving is because unlike regular hair, the tip isn't worn down over time. It grows at the same thickness as the root because the wearing down process was disturbed at the skin level, and it keeps getting chopped back before the tip can thin out from wear.

If you wax/shave, be sure to exfoliate regularly!

You could also just switch makeup to Bare Minerals. I know I sound like a commercial for the stuff but it doesn't accentuate those little hairs the way other makeups can. It also doesn't sit and build up in fine lines and covers very well without looking cakey

    I love the stuff!!!
