I've only been to the Rhino downtown, as a customer. When I was there, it was extremely busy but there weren't enough girls and we were completely ignored. (We were two couples tipping heavily and looking around eagerly for dances for an hour and a half, but no one even said hello.) Stage shows were AMAZING. There is one girl there who isn't even human - she is supernaturally beautiful and moves like rising smoke. She only did one stage show and spent the rest of the night giving laps; she was in really high demand.
The stage there is enormous and has two poles. It takes your whole show just to work your way around the stage. Like all California nude clubs, there is no alcohol. It looked like a decent place to work, at least by L.A. standards. Very classy for downtown. But I don't have enough experience with it to say for sure.
I wouldn't recommend it to a newbie. There was some seriously AMAZING stage dancing going on there and it looked like you'd really have to know what you were doing. But maybe I'm just easily impressed.![]()
I used to work at the Rhino in Van Nuys, and I have to tell you that not only was every single girl there drop dead gorgous, but every one of them was incredibly sexy onstage. It's hard to get hired there; In the period where I worked there I saw way more girls turned away after their auditions than were allowed in. You definitely have to be a good hustler, as you are competing with the most beautiful girls in the greater LA area, most of whom are very experienced (not to mention willing to give a phenomenal lap dance, most with high levels of contact). The customers at this particular Rhino are mostly white collar, and expect significant conversation time with you before buying a dance. I didn't like the vibe here...management was relatively uptight, drink hustle is a pain in the ass, and tipouts seemed a little excessive: the norm was a dollar per dance to the bar, DJ, security, AND management (which is the only one I truly had an issue with, since all the manager ever did for me was take my money and bitch at me for being 10 minutes late). When combined with the $7 taken out of topless dancess and $14 taken out of nudes, it really adds up.
As for dress code, on the floor most days you are required to have some sort of bottom cover which reaches to your knees (though this can be completely see through, and some girls wore teeny skirts with a bit of material that reached to the knee...), and of course, you can wear whatever you want onstage. Don't expect tons of stage tips, unless it's a weekend night.
Although I was not a huge fan of the vibe here, there is something to be said for the fact that the Rhino does a lot of advertising and brings in the customers. Of course there are slow nights, but in general, there's a solid customer base. Most of the girls here make their money on regulars...
Whew, I think that about covers it. If you have more questions, I'll try to answer...
Oh and btw, if you tend to get distracted by really great stage performances, you might end up watching the stage for too long, as I often did. I've been thinking about heading back there as a customer sometime soon just so I can be reinspired by the incredible dancing!

I went to one SR in LA. Don't know which one. Nude, no alcohol. Most soulless strip club I've been to, and I've been to some dives. You'd have to bribe me and drag me to get me back. Talent ranged from totally smokin' to smokeless. Mileage was fairly high. Hustle was off the chart.

I've been to the SR in Torrance. I believe it's the only topless SR in LA.
Typical run-of-the-mill topless LA joint, even with the SR name. Girls were hot; lapdances weren't.
Went to SR in Torrance this twice last week while on business in Cali. I was curious what Cali gals are like, especially if they are in bikinis.
This is a bikini club, dances are $15. I had a gal offer me 3 dances for $30 and ended up spending $200 with her - lots of fun good mileage but of course the top does not come off (except when they are on stage - so calling this club a topless club is a hoot). Had LD with 3 different dancers and they certainly gave good dances.
Their VIP deal is a rip off as they make u pay extra to pay at the tables with the red table cloth closer to the stage - a farce of a rip I have never seen before. Mgt watches the LD area (which is nice) like a hawk.
I date strippers, especially if they love to model for me.

I worked at Blue Zebra for a short time, which is a Rhino owned club in North Hollywood. Basically the same deal as most SRs, only it is smaller and specials were called all the time. Earning potential was decent but I feel it was limited by the specials.
I'd stay away from the Valley in general when it comes to LA clubs. But that's just me. This is especially true if you like the large crowds and fast paced hustle. NoHo is notorious for being slow. As with anywhere more upscale around here, expect to tip/pay out half of your money.
If you are comfortable providing much higher mileage (or extras) then head to SR in City of Industry. Anywhere around that area is a gold mine for extras girls.
