My wonderful friend and I have started to work-out, eat right and think healthy. I am currently working three jobs (I have some serious debt to pay off - well, it's big to lil' meand let me tell you...er, motivate you, if I can...making your transition to a healthier lifestyle WORKS if you go about it a little at a time, taking it day-by-day. At the moment, she and I have a little competition with some money at stake ($5 each time we break a rule) and we're both taking things in moderation.
Quick Background: I was THAT girl who would go on a diet, stress out if I didn't perform perfectly and end up quitting after only a day and half (I'm serious, I can't stick with anything if I put too much pressure on myself to be "the best") on any diet/fitness program I planned to follow. Planning isn't good for me. I was also that girl who thought diet pills and other sources of energy aided me in my weight-loss goals. It never worked.
I'm winging it and tracking my progress in an on-line journal (that ONLY my friend is allowed to review) and it's working. I feel so determined. It's been almost two weeks and two weeks is HUGE in my world of a short attention/motivation span.
Anyways, I'm hoping that I can encourage other ladies that are just starting and/or need a push to continue on...no matter what size you are, how much weight you THINK you need to lose or dancing goals you strive to achieve, you're likelihood of success will be most definite if you do everything in moderation and not take yourself too seriously. Start moving and live it up! We're all different so, whatever workout/eating style works best for you...you should follow. Dedicate yourself to yourself!!
I feel so energized and inspired. Have a beautiful day ladies!![]()
