Watch what you eat and work out. Boob shrinkage due to weight loss depends on the individual. If you're only loking to lose 2-10 lbs, you may not see a difference. If you're looking to lose more, it would depend on your genetics. You may not lose much boob tissue or you may lose lot.

My personal fitness training certificate has not been renewed in a while, but my general recommendatin for weght loss is this:

Do 30- 60 minutes of cardio, and try to do different types. Throw in interval training several times a week. (For example, I walk, swim, use the elliptical, use the stair mill, and take some dance classes. I alternate my cardio throughout the week).
don't forget 2-5 sessions of weight training. so many women forget this, and it's vital. Be sure to hit your upper body, lower body, back and abs. some people just work out the one area, but neglect the rest. Don't fall into this trap.
Eat healthy and get some quality carbs- i.e. whole fruit and whole grains. Eliminate refined grain products, junk foods, and soda. My friend lost 35lbs by just cutting back on soda and white bread. Eat quality protein, cut down on friend foods, and eat 5-10 servings of fruits and veggies.

Eat breakfast and eat healthy snacks.

I have rarely seen anyone lose weight and keep it off unless they adapt some healthy eating habits.

I wish you could tell your body "here, but not there" when losing weight, but that's not how it works.

I don't think your stats are that bad. If you want to lose a few, it's not that hard. You can do it in 2 days if you drink only juice.

no offence, but a juice only diet is not good.

I wrestled all through high school and in University, and coach now.

weigh loss, and maintenance was somewhat of an obsession, even now I can't avoid a scale. if it is in the room, I must stand on it.

at 5'4" 125lbs you defiantly are not over weight, what do you currently do for fitness? I don't know much about Stripping, ( though I am learning quite a bit from these forums today) but I do know about fitness, target fat loss is impossible, but you can firm up soft areas,

You will need to do Cardio, Running is Great, Treadmill, to a lesser extent then track or out side running, an elliptical, if you never lift your heals is a great work out as well, ( lifting your heals is cheating ) then a Bike. For a Woman who's goals are fitness, I suggest 3 days a week doing weights, nothing heavy, squats, are great, lunges as well, get your self a nice behind, I'm a fan of a firm back, so I suggest Lat Pull downs, and seated rows, for chest incline dumb bell presses, are fantastic, as are dumb bell flys on a fitness ball, when doing them on the fitness ball you work your core muscles, helping develop abs with out the tedium of situps, though they are a necessary evil I am sorry to say, Arms, for the most part I think you should focus on triceps over biceps, as people age, more so in women they get "wings" keep your triceps in shape and you can prolong this enevitability. for tries I suggest a universal machine, and rope pull downs, if you are in high heals all the time chances are your calves get developed enough not to need to work on them.

here are links to show you each of the exercises I mentioned as well as many many others.

This is a dumb bell fly http://www.exrx.net/WeightExercises/...nal/DBFly.html
but instead of a bench I suggest using one of those big fitness balls, keeping the ball balanced under your back and both your feel planted flat on the floor

    Seated Row http://www.exrx.net/WeightExercises/...SeatedRow.html

This is a Exercise and Muscle directory

I have no affiliation with exrx I just find the site very helpful.

as for Nutrition, its up to you, people can give you diets, to go on, but are you going to follow them, eat small meals, and think about what you eat, I would start taking a multi vitamin if you don't already, there are many supplements you can take that help with weight loss and weight maintenance, but be careful and read up about them before taking them.

I believe in eating what you want in moderation, I love fast food, so I modify my order to reduce the junk involved. salads or soups instead of fries, grilled chickens over deep fried, this will most likely be the hardest part of losing weight then maintaining it, food is everywhere, and the fattening stuff is far easier and cheaper to get.

    good luck

I didnt know about the juice fast. I just started working out again after my ba and I am getting bigger .. gaining my muscle back but I feel fat. Maybe that will help get rid of some of it till the exercise really kicks in. Thatnks.

your body needs far more then juice has to offer, especially if you are doing something as athletic as dancing.

Hey, a fellow wrestler! I wrestled through high school, but had to stop because my University doesn't have a team (and looking like a spousal abuse victim with all the bruising was cutting into my social life...you should've seen my arms! I looked roughed up all the time).

I know what you mean about the scale- I am scale obsessed. I developed a borderline eating disorder while wrestling, though. It was always "I know you're 57.5kg in weight class, but you're near the bottom, so could you please try to make it into the 54kg class?" Dammit. My body wanted me to be 122lbs, not 117llbs! I did juice fast and such before competitions (hell, even water fast), but it always seemed that by day 2 of the tournament I had gained almost every pound of water weight back. Over using a fasting system is hell on the metabolism, and frankly I don't find dancing anywhere near as athletic as wrestling was. I look back at my wrestling body of a few years ago with genuine envy! I was one tight little bod!

Wow it appears we were also in the same weight area :p

what club did ya wrestle for? I too am in Ontario, my Club, which No longer exists was Huronia Wrestling Club, then I went to University at Lakehead in Thunderbay.

And you will never find a sport that will give you the work out Wrestling did, I was a sport nut, did everything I could, Wrestling was the only one to really make me exhausted, through I did great in it. My passion now is moving into body building, not much in the way of Wrestling competition for a 23 year old out of University in Wrestling, and I'm an adrenaline junky Weight lifting is the closest I can get in an adrenaline rush

I was in the Ottawa Club for awhile, but mostly just the high school team. All this talk is making me want to get back into it! But it takes sooo much time. I always wanted to make the hike up to Renfrew- their club is FIERCE.

Depriving your body of anything is not healthy, working in a smoke filled environment is not healthy, also a numerous amount of other things is not healthy.

    Your point is?

    touche,
though should you not want to minimize your unhealthy practises to maintain the best health you can?

Plus most juices are fruit based, which are not good for fat loss, since juices tend to be high in sugar, which in turn makes your body produce insulin, which in turn makes you build fat.

Ya Renfrew has a pretty good club, I recall bringing Kids to the Eastern Canadians just out side of Renfrew when I was in highschool, even at the Elementary level Renfew has a lot of wrestlers.

Not all juices are fruit and as well the juice fast is only for purifying the body of toxins to start a healthy regime. Also anyone that thinks the juice fast is a lifestyle addition needs to get their head checked or at least get some therapy. ( Note the sarcasm )

Also as well the juice fast is for individuals that want to loose five or so pounds in a hurry. As strippers who put our bodies on display day in and day out, sometimes we do have to conform to the so called normal "look" that society imposes upon us. ( Also, sarcasm again.)

Yes but if you loose weight in the juice diet it's all water and you gain it all back after.

I'm with Crow...it's not all water. If you go to eating healthy (fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean protein) after, you'll lose even more weight.

I've always found though that it was maybe six pounds water, two pounds fat. And for all the hypoglycemic shaking I couldn't avoid, I just never thought it was worth it. For a quick slim in a time of need (weigh-ins at a tournament or photo shoot, or whatever), they're fine, but I think they're hell to go through. After three days I can't even read a book...I just want to lie around. Maybe one or two days are ok once in a while, but I abused fasting, and I look back with fear. For real weight loss, patience and consistency would probably be more bearable.

I exercise fairly often and am vegan, but still need to drop a few pounds sometimes. I don't deprive myself, but simply fill up on healthier foods. FYI, spinach and broccoli have more protein per calorie than steak (and more nutrients than almost anything!)

Here's what I do (and since I can't exercise for like a month b/c of new breasts, I'm doing this every day) :

Once a day (preferably breakfast) have a spinach/apple smoothie -- it tastes good! Here's the "recipe":

-At least a half a pound of spinach (wash it really well unless it's bagged and pre-washed)
-One apple (or half an apple if it's huge)
-Splash of soy milk (unsweetened) and Splash of Cranberry (just a tiny bit ... the spinach has plenty of water in it already.
-A little soy protein powder (I use Source of Life granola flavor)
-BLEND (it takes some manuevering) and enjoy! Drink as many of these as you can!

    -----------------------

This one's easy! Steam (or boil) 8 oz (half bag) of frozen broccoli mixed with a half bag of broccoli, cauliflour, carrot medley). Eat it before dinner or with/after something smaller than usual.

    -----------------------

Watermelon! It's hard to find now, but in the summer, eat unlimited watermelon!

All of these ... eat as much as you want and you will lose weight, cleanse, get healthy!

Exercise and make your other meals healthier and healthier! You'll learn to love it!

    pics 2 days post-op (bloated and constipated ): 1 and 2

    Go Vegan!
