    Default Crazy Horse in Philadelphia

What's everyone's thoughts on this? Philly people reveal yourselves!
Owner wants to open it up on Columbus boulevard, neighbors do not want it.
Emily how do you think this will turn out? I read the one in Vegashas around 1500 girls?

I think it sucks cuz we have so many clubs and strippers in Philly already that it will just be spreading the customer base even thinner.

Nah, Delilah's has been there forever...D's has their shite together, maybe after quite a few years CHT can give them some competition, but I think Delilah's will still be the top club in the city.

you never know...afterall, PEC beat out Scores, and you'd think Scores was bullet-proof.

I think what will happen is the same thing that happened when Oasis opened. Lots of girls leaving their club looking for the greener grass of the new club, fewer customers at existing lcubs, more at the new....but it all evening out.

As one whos in the trenches....CHT will probably be a blow to ALOT of club biz. No it wont strech things too far as it will probably just take over all together. Delilahs dose NOT have there shit together and its nothing compared to the machine it was in 1997- 2002. With Oasis looking like its on the choping block (as well as perhaps Signatures) theres going to be an opening for another club. And remember....this isnt some rinky dink club comming into the city...this is THE Crazy Horse Too, CONSTANTLY ranked as the top club IN THE WORLD. The name itself will be a draw, drawing intrest. And if they can KEEP that intreset from the get go, well, 2006 will be an interesting year for the biz in Philly.

I wonder if they will let girls work at two clubs, I want a piece of the pie and I really like risque! I think they are opening in January, but I'm not sure when in January. I'm going to be out for my BA for Jan so it doens't matter too much to me.

Does anyone know when the casinos are set to open?
I heard Oasis is going to be closed within a year cuz it's already been sold or something.

Unless there are going to be several "Strip Bar Poker Runs" I wouldn't see why they would open up on Columbus. Columbus already has a couple big clubs on it. I don't know, I'm not one for the huge clubs, I like my semi-big-but-still-personal club.

Generally what happens when a new game comes to town is this: No matter what... let's say whichever "big club" you work at, be it Risque, Cheerleaders, Delilah's, Oasis, etc....they tend to post signs in the dressing room to the effect of "If we find out you're working at Crazy Horse Too, your contract here is terminated." I have seen it happen time and time again. The baisc shock part wears off within about 6 months usually, but yeah, expect to get shit if they find out. Or perhaps things have changed recently. I know management at the big clubs certainly gives the DJ's a hard time about trying to work somewhere else simultaneously. I was at Delilah's for 6 years and I was expressly forbidden to work anywhere else. Maybe there's a roundabout way to ask your current manager what the deal is?

I worked at the Crazy Horse Too in Las Vegas in 1997 and it was the best place that I have ever worked at the fees were not that bad but that was a long time ago. I do think that they will give the clubs here a run for their money. Although they are having a bew problems since Philly is saying that they do not want those mob ties here. But I think it may be a good thing for Philly, that is if they run it the way that they run the ones in Vegas. Just my opinion though.

Has anyone worked at the one in Vegas?

yeah i LOL'ed at that too.

philly as a city is a notoriously tough nut to crack. we're a quirky town. i agree that it will be interesting to see what happens.

i'm at cheerleaders right now and very content. there's no way in hell i'm trying to break in another new club. i'm too young for gray hair.

The latest rumor I heard was an opening on Jan. 25. I drove past the place last night and it is really big; even if there are enough customers to fill Oasis or Risque in there, how will it look like it's not empty?

I sent in my pictures through their website and they sent me a form letter telling me to come in to audition. It came a day after, so it wasn't an auto-reply.

I'm not sure yet. It seems it will be over-booked at the beginning. I still want to audition jsut to see.
