    Default Philosophy Products

Any Philosophy fans here on stripperweb ?

I am thinking of trying some of the products by this company and am looking for suggestions.

Which are your favorite products and why ?

    Thanks

I like them! the cleanser is great, but the moisturizer is the best (hope in a jar)

they have two peels....one is an oxygen and the other is a microdermabraison with vitamin C....get the latter. It really gives you a fresh face.

And the shower gels are awesome....they small so good and they get so bubbly.

Yes, they just featured Phil. on QVC. I also had a sample treament done @ Sehora, awhile back. I want to get their combo shower/bath gel/shampoo. I liked their Save Me, it's a nite treament w/retinol. I have a sample of their peel (forget which one) haven't used, but I'll let you know.

I love love love their 'rockstars' (gingerbread man scrub and cinnamon buns shower gel...delicious). I also really like their amazing grace body cream...it smells divine and makes my skin feel like a horse's muzzle (velvet n' butter).

    .
Olay regenerist have a microdermabraison peel which is identical to the Philosophy peel but half the price. In fact on makeupalley.com the olay brand has a 90% rating and according to the reviews you get better results with the Olay regeniest peel than with Philosophy one .... which is why i bought olay instead and i love it.

Yeah, thanks! I've read a lot of good reviews in magazines about Olay Regenerist. It has said that they are comparable w/the expensive products.

The reviews on makeup alley for most philosophy products are average. I got a sample of hope in a jar but wanted when hope is not enough since I have dry skin. Not thrilled about the hope in a jar or the eye cream. I did buy Dr. Harushkas rose cream and love it though. I guess everyones skin is different and its best to try it for yourself.

Ive been using the regular face wash for awhile now. Good for all seasons and doesnt dry out my face or burn it. I used the hope is not enough stuff and I like the regular one not the dry skin one better.
I have sensitive dry skin right now (its 'winter') and I really like both. Only I wish it had spf in the moisterizer.

I am going to try the Amazing Grace body lotion. I'll post a review after a few weeks of use.

I have been interested in trying the hope in a bottle? anyways, the cleanser and moisturizer. I have heard that their scents are fabulous, but wear off quickly. I have never tried them so I personally wouldnt know.

So far I am having good results with the firming Amazing Grace lotion.

I lost 10 pounds recently and felt my breasts were not as firm afterward and this lotion does seem to make them firmer. It has a lovely light scent too .

I ordered a travel size kit that includes Hope in Jar as well as the Time on Your Hands overnight hand cream . I am getting their Help Me retinol cream as well. I have decided to try it instead of my usual Retin-A to see if it will control my breakouts and not be so irritating as the Retin-A.

I will review all three products at a later date.

I may also try the Hope in a Bottle sometime to compare to Hope in a Jar. Since I am prone to breakouts and am a bit concerned that the Jar version maybe be too heavy for me.
