I'm not sure, but I was told $300 bucks. Also I was refered to Burning Angel instead, becasue i heard that SG have you sign a contract and then you can't do any independent projects, but Burning Angels let you come and go freely...but I that's only what I've heard. It's good that you're looking into it though. Goodluck.

I'm not looking into it ..I was just curious. 300 bucks per shoot? The reason I was wondering is because I was just wondering if most of the sgs did it for some scene status or something or if it was a viable way to make money.

do the link. hope it answers.

I've heard a lot of unfortunate stuff about them, a decent amount of good stuff too. Basically, if you want to model as a regular income source, don't go for it because I have heard they'll take you to court if you try to model for anyone else. If you wanna do 1 shoot a year or so, to improve your image and publicity -- go for it! SG's get good public relations and the shoots are nice/artistic. But since I model for assorted photographers and make good supplementary income at it, I don't really want to risk that!

300 dollars is not worth it IMHO.
No way. The SG people are dicks.

Any reason in particular for saying that? Just curious....
Don't do anything to limit your income to SG- besides, the way they are marketing themselves, they will be passe in time. Old Boy's Club Management + "punk rawk" look = yuck.
im on burningangel.com, pornforpunks.com, spookygirls.com, eroticbpm.com and several others.
sg does pay 300 a set which is good money becuase your not showing any vag. but.....
you will be lucky to shoot with them more than once a year. and they want exclusive contract, meanin if they find out you are on any competitor sites they will boot you. eroticbpm.com and burningangel pay comprible, and you can shoot with them much more often.

I know one of the SG. She got all pissed at me because she said I wasn't helping her out. Ok...one day she contacted me on myspace and was like, "I want to be a model, can you please help me out?". So i told her all that I could tell her. Then she was like, "You're lieing, can you tell Tila to make me a Fiesty Feline since you know her?". I was like, " i'm not lieing, and I don't know the lady...I just shot for her website and that's it." So then she wrote me back saying fuck me and saying that she's going to find out by herself how to become a model. Next thing i knew, she was a SG. I hope her career goes far, but she didn't have to be a bitch to me. I bet she's sorry now.
yeah, i went for SG, its so not worth it..... you'll end up spending more on a quality photos. they pay only $300 bucks, i could wipe my ass with that! lol.
I sent inn my pics to sg and filled out all the paperwork and w2's and 3's and allt he contract shit but i never sent it in. 300 dollars is not worth it in my opinion and if you read the contract it is way strict.
"I need a Win Dixie grocery bag full of money right now to the vip section...."

If any one is considering applying to Suicide Girls, I'd reccomend that you have a peek at this: http://www.livejournal.com/community/sgirls/
I love SG and was accepted a few years ago to model on the site, but backed out once I saw the release form. It's very strict and I did not like the idea that they could sorta own your 'personality'.
But I still think the current models are stunning and still drop by for a bit of a perve now and then![]()

I have a profile up on suicidegirls, and sent in my release form, etc.
I decided not to do it - I make way more than $300 on a decent night stripping, and I do not have to worry about my picture being on some stranger's computer for all eternity.
They pay approx. $300 per photo set (40-60 pics)
I would do it if I wasn't concerned about certain people fining nude pics of me, but I am.

Hey, I just did my first photoset for SG. In my opinion, I guess you get what you know you're getting. I'm not doing it for the money. I'm doing it for the experience and the journal, and the interesting people. 300 bucks buys 2 more sets with my photographer so I can't complain. *shrugs* Read the rules, and if you don't like them....don't apply. It's that easy.

I worked for Sg for almost four years. There is so much I have to say about it that I wouldn't even know where to begin, so I'll just say this: They own your pics forever, and can post them wherever the hell they want. They can also sell them to whoever the hell they want. The contract I signed back when it first started was way different than the contract the newer models sign. The newr contract gives SG the rights to almost everything about you; your name, your image, anything you write on the site, the personal pics you post, EVERYTHING. You have to be exclusive. You can't model for any other paysites,Period
The folks that own it are some of the most fake people I have ever met, truly shady individuals. I know this for a fact, because I have met them; several times. I used to consider them my friends and used to know them personally. The sole owner is a misogynist, and really does call all the girls "dispensable whores" I know this because I have seen him say this about the girls right in front of my face in his living room.
If you really want to keep a journal, try myspace. It's free, and you don't have to get naked for it. But if you need the validation, go for it. You'll find out for yourself.
All in all, I can't say that I regret doing SG, But I will most deffinetly say that quitting that poser site was the best thing I ever did. It really is run by the "good old boy" network. How fucking "alternative" is that?

i had been wondering about this. glad it was already covered.

sg is crap.
i do amateur online modeling, so i can tell you, for that genre, $300 is pretty high. but because they won't let you model for anyone else, and since they take about 6 months to send the fee sometimes, there's no way you can make a living on it. not being a dancer, that's not good enough for me- i gotta pay the bills with this stuff. i'm on two other sites right now, one pays $100 per shoot and the other pays $150- alot less than sg, but i can model for whomever i want, whenever i want, and the webmistress usually sends out the money pretty quickly, which in this industry, is a HUGE blessing. it lets me actually have money for rent and whatnot.
plus, sg is run by some guy who's a real dick, and likes to boot models for idiotic reasons- like he doesn't like their new haircuts, or thinks they've strayed too far from "punk". wtf?!
be the change you wish to see in the world....

Sg Was In Thne News Just A Few Months Ago As Being Taken To Court For Not Paying Some Of Their Girls.whats 'club Bewitched'?
"BOOBS'R'US"!!!! WHITNEYWONDERS

Check out burningangel.com. The site is legitimately owned and operated by a woman, the sets pay well, and they do a lot of contract stuff with Hustler (some of the girls do hardcore stuff, but it's not required). A few of the girls I dance/have danced with are on the site.
I work with a few Suicide Girls so I decided to check it out for myself...and after all my research, I decided it was not in my best interest, because I do a good deal of fetish modeling and don't want to be limited. That and I would hate to get lost in the sea of girls on that site.
I did, however, do a couples shoot with BlueBlood.com. I won't be doing similar shoots for their competitors' sites, but they offer decent exposure and my boyfriend and I were compensated. I believe in the project, and therefore I was willing to be involved.
SG is just becoming to corporate, IMO. It's starting to feel like the McDonald's of the alt-modeling world. I feel similarly about GodsGirls.com - Blue Blood has a certain edgier and more sexual feel that I like. I am not all that big on cheesecake or pinup, the semi-hardcore stuff is more my taste.
{in regards to the 'no vag' comment}:
I am one of the rare few that doesn't believe she should be paid more for nudity or more explicit content. That is where I shine. I love nudity and sex and think that being paid more for it gives off the notion that I consider it dirty and I need to be 'coerced' with more money to be involved. I don't do it just because I'm told I have to, but because I want to.
Maybe that's not the best marketing strategy, but I believe the attitude of 'if you pay me more I might do it' is PART of what is keeping the adult industry 'dirty' in the eyes of the general public.
So it's all a matter of what you are comfortable with.

How was Apnea able to do SG then go off and do her own work with other sites? I'm just curious- I know she was a big deal on the site.

she got kicked off SG before she ever worked with SG's competitors.Originally Posted by PleasureVictim
Like Alexxa, I too have modeled for blueblood.com except I only do solo softcore stuff. I have worked for them for almost three years now, and have been featured in magazines and gotten way more exposure from them than I ever did from SG. also, The people that run BB are truly awesome people that I call friends.
I got tired of the stupid high school politics at SG, and I also couldn't get behind the site anymore because they were becomming so extremely corporate, which is the very opposite of what I am about.
