I personally don't see the attraction in their members bashing the focus of this site and its members, nor vice versa. Golly, two sites, slightly different focus, everyone's happy! Three cheers for the Internet! On the other hand, I don't see any need to censor the bashing either, but it all seems so silly. Wouldn't a battle of SC professionals along website lines be ridiculous, given how difficult it is for the group to rally over bigger industry issues that threaten us all? Let each site find its niche. I would hope that those who like that site use it, those who like this one use it, and those who like both use both. Complimentary not competing. Such an easy solution.

Ev - if we're not sitting around feeling better than other people we have no sense of self. Unless you want to rob us of our ipseity, you will just stop all this "being sensible" right now.
I have taught that the sky in all its zones is mortal and its substance was formed by a process of birth
lol- I never saw that site before, but I'll be sure to stay away since two people on my SW 'ignore' list are there!
I don't get the 'house girl' bashing either- "oh, you don't move from club to club every week, so you're not cool like me!" I feature when I have to, but am a house girl at heart, and I'll tell you what I've noticed over a few years and a few dozen clubs: hard-working house girls almost always profit more than features. Less overhead, more regular business, etc.
Props to bigGreenMnM for showing his temperate side over there! Wanna bring that on over here for a visit?![]()
Feature costumes for sale!

Gawd, it's such a turn-on when you use words I have to look up in the unabridged dictionary.Originally Posted by Jenny

Since when isn't being a DJ a real job? It's comments like this that totally piss me off.Originally Posted by Jenny

My comment was really more in fun than anything else. I get along perfectly well with DJs and managers who are not trying to act like they are lords of a castle in which we are serving wenches. But really - you must admit that the level of schmukiness in CK's link was considerable.Originally Posted by Blade

Blade: I love the DJ's! You guys keep me and my co-workers up and ready to make money when it's slow or when we are having a bad time.
It's the same principal as individuals that think that dancing isn't a real job. Don't let comments like that steam you. Some of us ( strippers/dancers ) are very glad you and your DJ comrades are there where they are.
That comment was directed toward the commentary in the ED thread and was generally tossed out about the ED thread.![]()
please stay on topic and dont make this another dj vs dancer thread... thanks!

Sorry V!
I joined Ed twice now I think...it seems to be a SW junior, but no where as good as the original!
SW is very very active.
Not dead like Strippersociety or Dancerdolls.

Jenny and I both need disclaimers in our sig lines that state we shouldn't be taken seriously half the time and then the other half, very seriously. We both tend to slip into and out of dry witticisms that are meant as humor without labeling them as such. In my head, I "hear" the tone of the comment as not serious by some extremely visceral clue, but after I write one of these suckers, I often have to do a mea culpa for not making it more obvious.Originally Posted by Blade

I really don't like giving away the secrets.
But I bet one is, dancers don't like going to a site that has porno undertones.
I mean I looked at the site in 2 minutes said "I wouldn't want to be caught browsing here"
Girls sell sexuality all day and they don't want to be bombarded with it in their personal time. Or so I would guess. Exoticdancer's front page is berated with it, and it basically looks like they are selling sex, not a place for dancers to communicate.
Elegance and comphort are found in simplicity.
People are not ruled by their memories.
The fanatical blue side fan club for Nic, Jenny, Ev and Kat exists because none of you make it obvious. Please don't spoil that fun. Sporty thinks I overpay for beauty and brains, but trust me when I say this: There is nothing in all of God's creation more inspiring, erotic or compelling than a dancer with diamond-sharp brilliance, a laser-focused sex drive and a downright wicked sense of reality.Originally Posted by evan_essence

I have been on "ED" for 5 mins and already I can tell it sucks. The pictures and avatars don't work and I can't take my eyes off the chic on the top of the page!!! LOL
SW often imitated... never duplicated!!!!!
"The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy."
Well I had not heard about this place till just a week or so ago. I came I read, and find the atmosphere hear very nice, my only relation to the dancing world is that I enjoy going to a club when ever I am in a town that has one.
I just spent about 10 minutes surfing the ED forum, which was about the length of time I browsed this forum before joining, does not seem as warm to me, plus I don't like the look of the forum.
I don't think I will lurk there as I do here. quite interesting reading on these forums, far different then the Male dominated Computer forums, or Weight lifting forums I frequent. nice change.
SW wins, hands down. I love sw!!![]()

I've looked at ED a long time ago,and while doing that noticed a lot of referrals about the pink site, and that got me wondering what it was. Finally after finding it,I never went back to ED,there's no comparison.
I actually met Jen Worthington when she was a feature at my club. I thought she was really nice, which is saying a lot, because usually features just keep to themselves.
