    Default Speaking of teeth...OMG!+

So i had a bad cavity problem. I had literally 12 cavities filled in two visits and a root canal in another. I had to go back to get teeth adjusted b/c my bite was high. ANd still to this day my teeth hurt constantly like i have a cavity. I dont know what the problem is. And another thing. Things like pans, metal, alumninum foil and such bother me so much. Like a screech to my ears even when i just think about it. Could it be that they fucked something up somewhere. Its like nails screeching on a chalk board. OMG! Gums hurt still and im doing everything they told me to do. Floss, brush and ACT mouthwash. Still no improvement or at least doesnt feel like it....

Your teeth just need time to adjust to the fillings. I had a dozen fillings done when I was a teen. Or you might have nerve damage from some of the dental surgical procedures. Go back to the dentists & ask him about what you said here. Good luck.

Yeah, I agree w/MM. Also, where you live is humid? Weather could definately affect you. Certain sounds also bother me, I've not been to the dentist in a while. The nerves in your face are very sensitive. Good luck, & ask your dentist, take care.

Well, go back to your dentist. Getting a cavity filled can sometimes "feel" like a cavity for a little while. Or it may have been packed too much which is putting pressure on your nerves inside the tooth...

Depending on how long ago you had all of this work done...it could still hurt. A root canal is a big deal. It's usually very painful. Your gums may bleed for a little while since they were "violated" during the restoration process. But, you need to go to the dentist and have them look over your mouth again and make sure that everything is on the up and up.

Having had much cavity work done recently myself, I can attest that there is some aching after fillings. I found most of it due to my new fillings being MUCH more sensitive to hot and cold, even sugary sweets.

I've been brushing with sensodyne for a few months now and it really helps, you can start feeling the difference after just a few brushings.

    Hope this helps,
