Default advice about san diego clubs

i might be moving there in january. i read all the club reviews and they were pretty helpfull, but some of them are old and clubs can change alot in a short period of time, so i was wondering if anyone working there had any additional info on there clubs. hireing tips, fees, how hard it is to sell dances, management, dress code all that stuff (i must be forgeting somthing...)

im on the skinny side...but healthy looking, tall, blond, pretty. i have more of a model look then stripper (aka small boobs) but that works well at my current club, young thug guys dont like it much though.

im not counting on 1000 dollar nights but an average of 300 a night would make me very happy, (its what i average now) any advice would be welcome.

It's really easy to get hired at most clubs in San Diego. Those I have first hand knowledge with are Expose, Cheetah's and Pacer's. Pacer's does make you audition, but it's really not much pressure. They just throw you in the rotation, and don't make a big deal out of it usually. Expose takes a lot of money $35 base (night shift) + 20% of ALL tips and dances paid to the owner + 10% paid to the DJ + tips of course for door guy (who MUST walk you to your car). So, basically if you make less than $300 you lose more than half your money. And you bust your ass for that money, because the dances are only $10. At Pacer's dances are $15 now, and they only take a $40 base + whatever you want to pay the DJ (most pay 10%). But, Pacer's doesn't get many big spenders. Cheetah's has some very yucky clientele and their payout is also pretty high. I work at Pacer's because I'd rather not bust my ass all night for someone else to take all my money. Oh....by the way Pacer's has alcohol and the other two I mentioned do not.

You will hardly ever ever ever ever make a grand here on a regular shift. Youd most likely have to stay all day (12+ hrs) to make that. Sorry but this is the truth. On average youll be making 100-300 a night/day. Tip out at topless clubs is ALOT less. For example, one night I made about 4 something and the club took 160 of it. Thats about 64% of my earnings. Most nude clubs will take the most of your money.

jesus, i dont know how girls put up with getting 60+% of there money taken away. id rather work at a topless joint i guess. and i was absolutly being sarcastic about having a 1000 dollar night (i wish) are there any clubs with in an hours drive of san diego that might have more potential?

I have no idea kat3322...then there is club politics where you tip the bouncer more to not count your dances so you dont get charged as much. Too much BS for me. Its ok hard to read sarcasm online lol.

You have to drive more than an hour out of the city to find another club. Captian Creams, The Library in Lake Forest. I used to drive 2-2.5 hours to Anaheim to work. After Lake Forest be prepared for an S-load of traffic. If you go stay the night for anything past Lake Forest.
