    Default hydroxycut

I lost 47 lbs taking the old hydroxycut (ephdra free) and now there is a new one that I'm starting (also ephdra free), has anyone tried it?

I'm sorry.....this is probably stupid, but what's the difference? I used to take hydroxycutt, but I haven't looked at it recently.

I imagine you're talking about Muscletech's Hydroxycut Advanced. Muscletech has a real bad rap in the supplement industry. Basically they sell average products at inflated prices to pay their high profile endorsers. They work, but there are so many better, more effective options on the market.
The new formula looks fairly decent, but overpriced. It's under dosed on green tea, it advertises lowering blood sugar w/ Gymnema Sylvestre (K-R-ALA is far superior to that), the appetite suppressant isn't Hoodia, which IMO, is the best out there, but the it does contain Rhodiola rosea which is great for energy.

Here's what I think is the best legal fat burning stack. Keep in mind that it is very potent and not for everyone:

Controlled Labs Red Acid - this company took the "kitchen sink" approach and made a very good product. The best appetite suppressor I've ever used. It also contains modified fatty acids.

Biotek Ephedrine - well known for its strong thermogenic (fat burning) properties as well as its action as a powerful central nervous system stimulant

MAN Vaporize (Sesamin) - causes an increase in fatty acid oxidation in both the mitochondria and peroxisomes.

Designer Supplements Glucophase XR (k-r-ala) - clears sugar from the blood so that the body will use stored fat for energy.

Remember, supplements will only aid in fat loss if a proper diet is followed. I like to take in a combination of whole foods and protein shakes. I typically aim for a ratio of 50/30/20 (50% protein, 30% carbs, 20% fat).

Hey just checking about this here, do you mean to take all these products together? And is there any aspirin or caffeine in that recipe? More info please!!

even with the proper diet, is it healthy to your body to use these supplements?

I used Hydroxycut probably for 2months and did not notice any remarkable results..
I did not like that you have to take 9 pills every day. I used to take vitamins, hair growth suplement, vitamin C so with Hydroxycut it was a handfull of capsules... somehow psychologically uncomfortable to take that much of stuff every day :/ but maybe its just me... Can't they just make one big pill that you can take once a day lol

granted, i'm not a pro nor do i have a perfect figure. but i have experimented with almost every different type of diet pill/energy type thing. i've tried hydroxycut, xenadrine, stackers and xenadra. Hydroxycut and Xenadrine are probably the lowest amount of energy I felt after taking them. Stackers were somewhere in between, they didnt give me energy, just a like shaky feeling. Xenadra, I could actually feel working because if I took them on an empty stomach my face would turn bright red, which I was told is a reaction that occurs when your body is burning more energy.
Personally, I like Xenadrine the most for energy. I don't take them for appetite supressant because I don't think they work for that, its more of just a placebo effect.
    Good luck :-)

    The new ones suck!

I used to take the old ones and they were awesome, but now since there is no Ma Huang in them, they are pretty much worthless to me.

I am cycling out of the Stackers XPLC now and going to the Stackers 3.

BTW; the Ma Huang is Chinese ephedra in case anyone didn't know.

I've been using Hydroxycut for a few weeks now and have actually lost about 11 lbs. I wasn't really trying to lose a bunch of weight, just help tone up a little while I am working out more frequently. I have seen more results with it helping me not eat because I don't feel hungry. I LOVE to eat, so that is why I like it.
