K yeah my last post was bitchy, I'm sorry. It just blew my mind reading your post and thinking of some of the shit I've had to put up with lately and how it pails in comparison. Personally I don't like being groped any more than the next girl but I wouldn't know what to do with myself at a no contact club. I'd totally run out of moves doing air dances. I can't see making money that way. You're right though, once you've clarified the rules no one has the right to violate them.

Thanks Bridgette, I didn't think you was, you kind of have to be there to understand the situation completely. And I agree that the industry is going down hill. I consider myself more of an entertainer, not just a dick grinder. And if I just wanted to sit on dick constantly then I would consider going all the way. I started dancing merely three and a half years ago. From the point that I started until now things have changed quite a bit. What ever happened to a man just wanting an attractive companion to talk to and fulfill a sexual FANTASY at the same time while in the club. Everybody seems to want you to go outside the club now or more than just a lapdance. While our dances are a bit steep at 35 bucks I think it is worth it especially with the quality of girls we have. I mean you could go out and maybe get a street hooker for that but if just want the fantasy without disturbing your "home life" then I would consider it ideal. My husband and I use to frequent strip clubs before I started dancing. We always planned on spending at least 200 bucks. We would tip on stage, get a few drinks and a couple of dances from the girls we liked most and leave. Then later we might talk about it or fantasize about it some more. I know others have been in different situations than I have and worked in different enviroments so it is harder for them to understand what I am going through. But someone's boundaries are their boundaries regardless and I think you have to respect that.

And I agree that the industry is going down hill. I consider myself more of an entertainer, not just a dick grinder. And if I just wanted to sit on dick constantly then I would consider going all the way. I started dancing merely three and a half years ago. From the point that I started until now things have changed quite a bit. This is precisely the reason that, at this point, I have almost retired altogether from live dancing. The changes you have seen in the past 4 years pale beside the changes which I have seen over the past 10 years. Exotic dancing was actually considered to be 'show business' back in the 90s !

However, today the remaining number of upscale low contact 'show clubs' where it's still possible to earn decent money gets smaller and smaller each year. As customers learn to expect higher mileage, and as some dancers find themselves willing to provide that higher mileage in order to maintain earnings potential, this trend is only likely to get worse in the future.

Brigette, I tend to agree with you that if things keep headed in the present direction, the industry is going to wind up with a handful of super upscale low contact 'show clubs' in very big cities, and with a majority of other big city clubs plus virtually all smaller city clubs offering 'extras' as a matter of routine. Unfortunately, other than the super upscale 3 piece suit customer segment, there simply isn't enough willingness on the part of average customers to spend enough money to keep the club/dancers in the black without getting 'high mileage' in exchange for their money. And with every guy who is laid off from a $30 an hour blue collar job at GM/Delphi, Merck, IBM etc. and forced to take a $15 an hour job instead, the higher average club customer 'bang for the buck' expectations will become.

But someone's boundaries are their boundaries regardless and I think you have to respect that.
I absolutely respect that. However, average club customers may not feel the same way. I'm not implying that any girl should consider providing 'high mileage' or 'extras' if she's not comfortable in doing so. But what I am trying to point out is that with the changes in the exotic dancing industry, many girls who are not comfortable providing 'high mileage' or 'extras' may find themselves in a situation where their dancer earnings potential continues to fall to the point where the feasibility of their continuing to dance becomes questionable.

I see this and I tend to agree, which is why I rant.
