Heh... I worked tonight and made just over $400.. I was one of the top earners tonight. It really is shitty right now. I wish I had started earlier so I had money set aside. Im seriously thinking of getting a day job to get me through.

Gotta say I can't complain. I worked 5 days this week and brought home just over $2100. Remember to keep a good attitude. I think some guys can actually sense our desperation. Another thing I always remind myself is that it only takes one customer to make my shift. Good luck ladies!

Its been really slow here too... I did pretty well last night but no one else made more than $100 bucks (from what I saw on the LD sheet).... I had to hustle my arse off... it was S-L-O-W... girls were getting grumpy and complaining...

Ive noticed its really good the last 2 weeks of Dec... I BANKED the week between XMas and New Years last year...

Last night (Friday) sucked for me too. I only made $160. It's weird, Mon, Tues, and Weds were great, above average even but now Thursday was horrible ($80) and last night was too. I'm working tonight and then taking 3 days off, hopefully for Christmas shopping. I just keep reminding myself December sucks and to ride it out. Good luck!

    Nope.

This week was horribly slow. Thanksgiving week was actually better than this. Friday was busy, as a lot of guys got their paychecks on the 1st. But there were two or three times as many girls as usual, so it averaged out to a bad day for everyone.

Oh, well. Glad I don't have a big family to buy presents for.

Wow, this is really interesting to read. In Australia, traditionally November and December are the biggest money making months, with it going dead about two weeks before Christmas (Men leave thier shopping to the last moment). Usually dancers come out of the woodwork to cash in and depite being twice as many dancers, there is plenty of cash for everyone.
However this year is a totally different story. We are really struggling. The dancers who appear from no-where have gone on to find other work, and even with the usual number of regular girls, dancers are making less than usual. I have jumped about a few clubs and it is the same everywhere.
The top hustling money makers are going home with $300 on a good night. Normally this time of year a dancer can make that without approaching a single customer!
Even the club owners are getting worried.

tonight was awful at my club. i worked an 8 hour shift in a fully nude club and made $75, and $50 was a lucky tip. nights like this make me so discouraged and i wanted to just walk out.

Wow kittensgirl! I had no idea. Since I no longer work in the clubs locally and the only club work I did was in my two weeks in Adelaide... I havn't really noticed. I can't really comment about agency work either as I don't class myself as an agency girl (until I am licensed to drive my car) so the work I do here (at home via the agencies) is limited as well.

I agree November and December are usually great months esp. December. How I remember the last few years working the clubs here locally was that NYE isn't that great to work and that things slow down two weeks after NYE .... otherwise December is a lucrative month.

Hmm... makes you think doesn't it... wonder if it is the petrol prices (which have been well published here in Australia as affecting alot of incomes).

It's not very slow around here...and our club finally seems to have lessened the number of dancers working (they will fire girls for anything these days, since we have so many girls wanting to work). I haven't seen a decline in business since september. That said, fewer guys are spending. The last two nights I made $660 and $700 respectively, BUT friday night I made $300 off one guy and yesterday $400 off another guy. It's all about finding the one guy with golden pockets I guess, but that's a matter of luck.

Well. I got gas last night after work for $2.15! The cheapest I've seen it in a WHILE. Even before all the BS I was paying @ $2.40 here, so $2.15 seemed like a bargain I'll probably jump for joy at the pump if it actually goes below $2 again.

Last night was good for me, but it was an event night so can't really be used to measure how it is overall here right now. I haven't been working much either. One bouncer whose word I believe did tell me that they had the busiest Friday night in AGES this week tho. I'm working again tonight, another event which traditionally brings in biz. And will work a few nights this week before starting the new job, so we'll see.

Well, the snowball effect is happening here. The club is slow, the girls make less money, so now we have twice as many girls on every shift. I'm going in way early hoping that there will be fewer dancers, and I will proabaly stay until closing too. 3pm to 3am should help me make up for lost earnings, I hope.
