    Default Club in Payson AZ

    PAYSON,AZ

    QUALITY CLUB

50 minutes away from Phoenix, cool mountains of Payson. Limo will pick you up and drop you off. Free lodging for the weekend. $1 house fee. Family environment.

    602-390-7390 or

This ad is in the New Times alternative paper in Phoenix. I drove by it on my way out of town Monday and saw it before. If it had been later at night I would have gone in.

Have any Phoenix girls worked here? I work in towns the size of Payson in the Upper Midwest, and sometimes it is easier to build up a clentele there and because they work less girls money is easier to make.

Since Phoenix clubs are getting so competitive, maybe this is a good change of pace.

    Hmmm.

My ex-father-in-law used to say: "If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is."

Clubs in the smaller towns typically don't charge house fees, and some of them do have dancer housing or pay a base pay so what they are advertising isn't out of the norm. Smaller towns don't have many if any local dancers so they constantly recruit from nearby big cities.

I drove past it last memorial day weekend. Payson is certainly NOT 50 minutes from Phoenix...more like an hour and a half. The club is right on the highway 87 (or was it highway 260... one of those roads) It looked like an old 50s diner that had been remodeled. I saw the sign that said gentleman's club and did a double take. Didn't have any cars in the parking lot, and there was a dead cow carcass (no I'm not kidding) about 50 feet up the road.

It could be good considering there is NOTHING else in the area...Payson is a decent size city. More traffic in the summertime when people want to go to the mountains to get out of the heat.

DO NOT WORK THERE! I REPEAT, DO NOT WORK AT PETE'S PLACE CABERET!!
The owner's name is Joe, he is a drunk pervert who over counts the girls dances AND charges outrageously high tip out. He can get pretty handsy, does not have a bouncer or a door guy. He also does not have a bartender and does not know how to pour a proper shot because he is too drunk to care. He complains about girls drinking in the trailer which is the Dancer housing, which he does after confiscating the girls liquor to drink for himself or use behind the bar. This is liquor that the girls buy for themselves!
Some customers refused to pay me after dances were stacked which I learned not to do anymore, however it almost turned into a fight which resulted in me having to tip out for some of those dances I was never able to collect on after the bar closed, regardless of I was paid or not from the customer. I questioned his dance counts on several occasions because he was over counting which results in me paying him more at the end of the night. There were multiple occasions when Joe was too inebriated to do a proper count on the girls dances due to his level of intoxication, this kept us until 3-330 some nights. Sometimes we would not get paid as he started collecting our semi private dance money immediately after our time was up. This often meant he would keep it all claiming that our dance counts went beyond that amount and often we would have to tip more above that amount. This means that if a 15 minute semi-private dance is $120, the tip out being 30 and we keep 90, he would keep all of that instead. So he started ripping us off that way.
