    Default dancing on stage..

hey i'm new..obviously, anyway..I've wanted to be a dancer for a few years now and I think I finally have the confidence..as well as less fat, anyway my question is about dancing on stage, I mean, I've done the whole dancing in the mirrior thing and half way through one song I don't know what to do with myself, how do you keep it going? I'm visiting a club soon so that should help but any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Don't dance too fast, even if a fast song is played, find the slower beat in the song and dance to that. At my club we have only one stage, with one pole and a step in the back of the stage to go up a little higher on the stage. We are on stage for 3 or 4 songs, and I don't do any pole tricks, so sometimes I need to get creative. I will usually spend some of my time twirling around the pole, then I will walk to the other end of the stage and move around slowly, then go back to the pole, then go to the back of the stage. I usually do a floor show for one of the songs. It's ok if you feel like you are running out of things to do, just start over from the beginning. The guys probably won't notice.

maybe start with your hair up and take it down halfway through, swinging your hair about. Layers are also good for newbies because each item removed gives you something new to play with (overshirt, skirt, boa, etc.) or you could seductively slide down onto the floor and do some floorwork...

I agree! Most guys dont notice if you are repeating yourself - Ive had guys keep spending money and short of actually putting my outfit back on, I just repeat my act, with maybe a few changes.

I can't wait to get on the pole and do my tricks! I think if there wasn't a pole I would be very unsure of what to do with myself. I have been taking pole dancing lessons for 6 months and am excited to use the moves....still nervous as hell but! lol.
