holy shit, it goes up to 15 grand?! i'm looking to get these done in two years, when i'm 22 (due to the silicone age regulation) so i guess that gives me time to save up but damn. and thanks for the responses!

I met Dr.Teitelbaum. I spoke with him for quite a while. I would NOT go to him personally. He was very nice except he was sitting on his stool with his legs spread far apart with his bulging go nads hanging out in his funky striped suit.
Hahaa. Any way he told me that my augmentation would require four scars.
Two around the aereola and two under the crease. No, I did not misunderstand him. I asked a few times and he kept repeating that I would need the four
incisions.
I felt the "gummy bear implants" which for some stupid reason in the US
only come in anatomical shapes. And of course all anatomical implants
are textured, which can also pose a potential problem. They feel amazing, all though for me getting round implants is 100% the best way to go
for numerous reasons. If you search on the boards this topic is covered quite
well, and will also explain the issue of a loss of upper pole fullness with these anatomical implants.
I have a benign breast mass that needs to be removed. He said I needed a breast lift to achieve what he called the "perfect augmentation". I have seen numerous Board Certified Plastic Surgeons since that that told me that was crazy and I would only require two scars. And perhaps a small scar on the side of my breast to remove the mass.
I would surely get gummy bear implants, IF they came in rounds.
And I don't F-ing understand why they dont. Does anyone know.
I forgot to ask doctors about this.
Since they are solid, they cannot leak at all of course unlike the cohesive gels
that are now officially approved they still have the potential to leak because they are like jelly.
If you see the pics of the "gummy bear implant" cut open it does look and feel just like the candy, you can cut it in half and it goes nowhere.
Also when I saw the gummy bear teardrops in person they looked
like flat hard pancakes. I did not like them.

^ i read that the reason that they are textured is to create friction and thus keep the implant in place.

I know they're availible in my area for $6-8 grand but only if you already have implants. They label it "reconstructive" surgery.

Yes I knew that, not to sound like a smartass.(About the textured teardrops)
What I really want to know is why can't we get the ultra cohesive gel
in the gummy bear consistency in rounds the US? We only get the damn
teardrops.
I wanted teardrops at first, then firmly decided that rounds are far superior
IMO.
^^^ My PS was going to do rounds in vegas.

Just out of curiosity, why do you prefer the rounds over the tear drops?
I didn't even know they made the Co-gels in round!
I have the tear drops under the muscle and love the look and feel of them.
What do the round Co gels look like? Do you have a picture or a link? I'm all curious now.

Luckyone whats the name of your doctor in Vegas? I'd like to reasearch him or her.
That is the first I have heard of the gummy bears in rounds!
Dr.Teitelbaum said you can only get them in teardrops.
Magdalena well I suppose from my studies online
about them I prefer rounds over anatomicals (teardrops) because they have more upper pole fullness, the smooth texture is associated with no complications
unlike the textured surface, they look more booby-luscious TO ME.
Also when I saw the gummy bear teardrops in person it felt like a hard lump
and it looked like a flat pancake. I did like the solid squishy feel they had though.
I have seen some smoking augmentations done with the anatomicals,
I personally prefer the looks of rounds better though.

i'm pretty sure my doc i'm going to also does round gummy bear

Thankyou I will check those docs out.
While I have saline..I was originally interested in teardrop because I wanted them to look natural, but EVERY Dr. I went to told me that the teardrops fall SO much that you have the probability of looking bottomed out when they fully drop. I have rounds and they look perfectly natural,so I can only imagine that teardrops WOULD be bottomed out since they would have dropped even more(or would have already have been dropped more because of the original shape...does that make sense?)
Teardrop also has the added risk of rotating, which would result in a pretty deformed appearance. The dude I had my consult with refused to do them.
Sassysummer, are you doing it? I decided against it, but I still think about it. I never had a consult with Dr. Jewell, I tried to contact him from his website, but they never got back to me. I also didn't really want to get them done so far away and have to drive back, but he does look good.

I originally wanted the teardrops as well, there are just TOO many problems.
I would not recommend them for dancers who risk an even higher rate
of the implant rotating.

Holiday-
I have under the muscle. does that make my chances of them rotating a little bit less? I'm one of those people that worries and obsesses over anything and everything that could go wrong. A big part of the reason I chose the co-gels over silicone or saline is because I didn't want to worry about them rupturing.

I literally just breathed a sigh a relief when I read thisIt will be 6 months for me on Aug 1.
They were really high up the first 3 months but one day I woke up and noticed they looked so much better and felt a lot more natural. I guess they had been slowly dropping but I just didn't notice it lol.
I started off with a C cup so maybe that's why mine feel so squishy? The only place they feel fake is at the bottom.
I think I'm one of the few people that wishes they had went a bit smaller though. I always feel fat in my clothes now![]()

Oh jeez, you'd have to ask your doc. But, ya, I mean, intuitively it sounds like the chance would be a lot less, since they're under.
And I didn't mean to freak you out! I'm sure you'll be fine! On some forum I read some funny story about a girl who had anatomicals and learned how to flip them back when they rotated, her pocket must have been too big or something...
A big part of the reason I chose the co-gels over silicone or saline is because I didn't want to worry about them rupturing.
Oh, and co-gels are silicone. It's the same thing, right? And the rate of rupture is about the same for silicone and saline, you just don't deflate when you have silicone. But you still have to get them replaced, because the silicone has the risk of migrating around your body, and that can cause probs. That's why you are supposed to get routine MRIs every few years for the rest of your life.
