Default Ladies: Best Way to Kill Smoke Odor?

    Hi --

First ty to all the ladies on the board for "sharing," as we say in Calif. Also ty to all the ladies in the clubs who have taught me so much about nonverbal communication & how we manipulate ea. other. OK, here's the question: I have a nicotine addiction (sorry) (& have been known to imbibe other herbal sub's as well). What's the best way to deodorize? (I have read the posts about mints, but want to be more thorough. The club is nonsmoking, so I partake OTC, use some mouthwash, smudge with sage, & then wash my face & hands as soon as I go back in.)

    FEBREZE.

It's the only thing that can get that smell out of your clothes and hair.

I second the febreeze suggestion. Try putting itn on first, then using body spray over that to not smell like laundry. Also be sure to wash you hands well, and rinse with mouthwash or use a listerine strip. that sould make you smell fresh and sweet!

I agree with the febreeze... We can smoke in my club, and it gets really smoky, so all the dancer clothes in my suitcase stink like smoke, especially after its been locked up overnight.... so I spray febreeze into my suitcase every night before I lock it up... and take my clothes home every weekend to wash them... it really helps...

I got a tip from a feature dancer once.... shut your eyes and mouth and lightly spray your perfume/body spray in your face.... then when you get up close to a guy, he'll smell the perfume and not the smoke.

I also use those toothbrush things that go on your finger and you don't have to rinse your mouth after... minty fresh!..... I think they're made by Oral-B, but I'm not sure. Some companies also make mint scented lipgloss that you could use

    Since it is customer conversation......

Customers may not like to carry your lingering perfume scent home, so masking your tobacco odor is not a good way. Also Febreze helps a lot, but it's not foolproof. In fact nothing superficial works all that well. (also 2 packs a day equals up to $3600 per year and ain't hay!!!)

About mouthwash (this is a bit graphic, sorry). When you gargle you need to get that stuff way back there. That smell goes down your throat and residue is left in the thicker stuff that builds up back there and also on your tongue. Deep gargling is annnoying, but it works a lot better. Then rinse deep with warm water too. Sorry if this sounds a little too close to Linda Lovelace, but few garglers realize how it needs to work. I don't smoke, but onions are just as bad.
I loved going to strip clubs; I actually made some friends there. Now things are different for the clubs and for me. As a result I am not as happy.

Customers are not entitled to grope, disrespect, or rob strippers. This is their job, not their hobby, and they all need income. Clubs are not just some erotic show for guys to view while drinking.

NOTE: anything I post here, outside of a direct quote, is my opinion only, which I am entitled to. Take it for what you estimate it is worth.

Spray vinegar in your hair. Sounds too folky to be true but it works.
Sadly, clothes absorb a lot of odor too so unless you're willing to change out often, you won't be fooling everyone for long.

    I agree,Febreeze is good,
Also,L'Oreal sells this hair deoderizer (sp?) that is good....

Get a tongue scraper that has mint flavor and floss..that will get rid of the bacteria.
Those listerine breath strips are great too.
I don't smoke but I spray perfume on my brush.Hair smells great,it is drying though.

    Hope this helps!

Febreeze works well on clothes!!! Very well! On hair spray bottle mixed with water and hair conditioner! Spray and fluff untill odour is gone...works!

Mouth...Don't smoke, but hear drinking some milk (i know right) will help kill alot of the smokers breath.
