    Thinking of traveling

Okay to all you girls that travel. Im thinking after the new year I want to start traveling to different clubs, I would LOVE to go to the states and try some topless clubs. Im wondering what I need to look into. I know there are some strict laws about boarder crossing. So umm yea any advice? I was told to be careful with my costumes and stuf when crossing the boarderf.... so what do I need to be aware of? How do I pick clubs? I dont drive so thats something else I need to be careful with. Thanks in advance girls!

Without a car, itd be difficult but if you went to:

Los Angles, California and flew into LAX, you could find a motel/hotel within a short distance and there are a few clubs within a few miles of the airport...Jet Strip and Bare Elegance come to mind with BE being the hardest place to get hired but highest money potential.

In San Francisco, if you fly into their SFO airport, you could try and get a good weekly deal at one of the nearby airport hotels then you can take a free shuttle to the airport and take the BART into downtown SF, as the airport is situated outside of city limits. Travelling on the BART would not be terribly expensive at all(you could probably get a weekly pass or something) and once you are in downtown SF, you can get to most of the central areas by foot and a car would prove to be more of a hindrance than a benefit.

I do not know about what to be wary of when border crossing...sorry!

Flights between LA and SF are not expensive either...Good luck with your travels!

*Just noticed you said topless clubs...BE and Jet are not topless but I think you would be able to ask if you can keep your bottoms on when on stage and I believe they have both topless private dances and nude optional.

I dont mind nude dancing... I do it here. I've just heard the nude clubs in the US can be kind of dirty. Thanks for the Cali info london. Cali is on my list of possible areas to dance. If im hiding for the winter its gonna be somewhere warm with a beach! LoL. Im going to research this very well before doing it, I want to be prepared for everything.

Portland clubs are almost all full nude and no contact. Money here is not great but ranges from $50-300 a night from what I hear around. The working environment is the major perk (that and the low cost of living here) and some of the clubs are located in neighborhoods that are quite safe to bus during most hours (well-lit major streets, my club is right next to a family fast food restaurant.)

Use to do this, before the internet and easy access to information.
Travel from state to state, city to city, burn up an ocean tanker gas
    going from club to club.

Getting a job is not really all that easy, people you go to don't know
you, and they suspect a fly by nighter, there for a nights, and once
you get a jingle in your pocket, hey, you are gone.

But on the other hand, there is good money in it, if you can budget
yourself and not spend anything but the necessaries of life, like
food and utilities, and other necessary expenses. But keep everything
to a minimum. Save, save, and save.

When I traveled, never stayed more than three months at a job.
This was my time limit. Regardless of how the business was, I
    always packed up and left.
The longest place I ever spent was two years, just before I became
    semi-retired.

It is amazing, business would begin to dry up in one section of the
country and then be booming in the next state.
    How that happen, go figure.

But one very important thing is, you have to have a means of
transportation. Without it, it is needless to say, you are dead.

You can get a car, but I prefer a truck.
But that is a matter of personal choice.

Traveling is an adventure. Good luck and have fun.

I think you have to be pretty careful with this, I hear its really hard to get a work visa for dancing in the US, so I suppose that means under the table work.
I suspect that the best clubs wont want to hire anyone who might get them in hot water with immigration etc. and if you have a conflict with the club, its not like you can turn to the police or whomever for help.
Still, our cultures are so similar that we would blend in probably and not suffer any cultural or language barriers so I guess if you are going to try anywhere then The US is the place to go.(I mean anywhere warm and close by lol)

I have never tried this so I dont know how tough it would be, but Im a chicken so I tay close to home.

One other thing...If something goes wrong and the immigration people get involved...wouldnt this mess up your chances of crossing the border into the US for the rest of your life...???

things are so paranoid these days and its not the border people would probably care to much about loosing one toursits dollars down the road. ooops there goes the cross border shopping and the trip to Vegas lol

geez im such a wet blanket today...

It's not that hard for a Canadian girl to get hired. Most US clubs don't care. The upscale show clubs probably do but most semi-upscale - dive clubs don't. Think about it... there are so many Russian and Brazilian girls for immigration to worry about that the Canadian girls can easily stay under the radar. Also I've always found it easy to get hired while traveling. If you hit say 3 clubs in one night chances are you're gonna get hired at one of them. If you're worried about being considered a fly-by-nighter just don't tell them you are traveling. "Hi, I moved here for... school? boyfriend? health? fill in the blank. It also probably depends on location. You're a lot more likely to get busted by immigration in a border area i.e. Seattle, certain places in Texas, or even LA than you are in a more central or less immigrated area.

canadian dancers usually don't have too many problems getting work in US clubs. the 'dirtyness' of nude clubs varies a lot regionally. researching what parts of the country you'd like best helps a lot.

as for picking a part of the country, it all varies so wildy all you can do is think about what you consider the highest reasonable contact level and try to get hired at places that cater to that in terms of decent earning potential. in the city i'm in, girls airdance next to girls grinding guys into orgasm and both are likely to be making similar incomes for the night. there are also parts of the country where stage tips are really good, and that is another option to consider. it depends on what you feel comfortable with, and how good you are at profiling the customer base.
