Awwww! That rocks, Scarlett! I bet Oceans is as sweet in person as he is online.

Nice, What are you wearing under that coat?![]()
Met T_O at the ill-attended SF Chicago. Funny, but ChgoSteve beat me to the punch. I was going to ask the same question about what you had on under that raincoat!
Girl, you couldn't be any more lovely, could you?
TO that lucky bastid!

Mikey: Yes, yes I am a lucky bastid
And many thanks to Scarlett for taking the time to come to meet me on Tuesday, her final night in the UK. We had actually planned to meet in Glasgow about a month ago (I went up for a soccer match between the USA and Scotland while she was working at a club there), but due to unforseen circumstances - see http://www.stripperweb.com/forum/showthread.php?t=56534 - we couldn't. As it turns out, she has family not too far from where I am. We met in Leeds because it was about halfway between where her relatives live and where I live.
We had a very nice dinner at a swanky little restaurant near the train station, mostly talking shop. It's too bad we didn't have more than a few hours to hang out. Scarlett is very engaging, very easy to talk to - once conversation got going, it was like hanging out with someone I'd known a long time, not someone I'd just met. We spent a couple of hours in the restaurant (it was much warmer in there), and probably would've stayed longer if we hadn't thought to actually check out some of the city.
After dinner we took a quick loop around the city centre, and came across two of three of Leeds' strip clubs (which Scarlett observed all follow the naming convention of "Article Color Noun": The Red Leopard, The Blue Leopard, and The Purple Door). Given more time we might've checked one or more of them out (some advance scouting, perhaps?)...unfortunately, The Red Leopard didn't even open until 10:30pm, the bouncer at The Blue Leopard gave us the evil eye when we walked by, and I couldn't remember where The Purple Door was (I checked when I got home, and it turns out we weren't more than a couple of blocks away from it). Anyways, by the time we walked back by The Blue Leopard, it was time to catch our respective trains (the photo is in the train station before we left).
So yay! I met another Stripperwebber. And attendance at this Fest was only half the attendance of the last one I attendedThanks again Scarlett, and glad you made it back to Vancouver safe and sound! We must do this again soon.

Congratulations! Scarlett sure looks like a charming person![]()
Thanks T_O!
And yes, he is absolutely as sweet as he seems online. And only we know what is under the raincoat.
