The club minimum is 4 nights a week, and you have to stay for at least 4 to 5 hours. I am now working 4 - 6 nights a week (usually just 5 ), with 5 hours minimum and 6 1/2 hours maximum. Anything longer than that and I am just sitting around watching the girls on stage...not a complete waste of time because I'm learning pole tricks and floor work, but I'm still not making any money just sitting around.

There are usually only a few hours and 1/2 hour increments where I make the bulk of my money, and the rest of the time is spent on smoke breaks. Then again, I'm still working on my hustle.

Every TX club I've worked was pretty much come and go as you please as long as your paid your fees and tipped the appropriate people, I rather enjoyed that.

I work 4-5 hours 2-3 times a week. I usually go in around 3:00. If Im making money I may stay longer than 5 hours but that is rare for me because if I get mentally worn out my smile doesnt work and its tough to make money without a smile.

I work a 5-6 hour shift usually. I prefer the later one 10-4 but make the most money from 8-2.

There's one shift @ my club - 6pm til 3am...15 minute sets approximately every 1.5 hours with mingling in between. Yes, its a VERY long night (I'm ok in my shoes til the 5 hour mark) but I *love* my club & my co-dancers so its worth it.

wow, i guess i am spoiled. I can come as i please, days hours. Always work nights, usually 3-4 per week from 3-4 hours. I need to step it up, but i hate going in earlier than say 9 and most nights get in after 10.

The club I work at is a mandatory 3x per week/7hr shift. If we choose to work extra hours, we must give 24hrs notice. If you decide to come in on an offday, you only have to stay 5hours.

During the Xmas rush I've been working 5 days a week 8 hours a day, so I guess the traditional "full time" thing. It sucks but the money's great.

If Im free lancing then I can come and go as I please since Im paying them.

On the rotation where they pay me (like 50-60 bucks)woo hooo lol then its 7-2 am most nights and 4-1 or 5-2 on Sundays so thats 7-9 hours a shift.
and thats 3 or 4 ..3 song sets
As I have matured,I have learned "that one good turn....usually gets most of the blankets",-)

Since I just worked with Natalia I can say that this way of working is smart. When I was there I worked Thur open to close (around the same # of hours as her Sunday shift) as well as the long Fri and Sat shifts. Only in my first week was I silly enough after such a long Sat shift to work Sunday night and subsequently just sat around looking pretty (I really didn't have the 'go' to do much of anything due to working my ass off the previous two nights).

The next time I am there I am thinking of doing Wed and Thur (the slow and short nights) then Saturday. Skip Friday as I can't handle Friday night crowds in many clubs anymore (I've found them to mainly a 'drinking' crowd compared to 'spending on dances' crowd). (Note: This particular club is only open Wed-Sun and doesn't really have a stage rotation, as such).

In the only other club I have worked regular enough within now.. I usually work 4 nights sometimes 6 a week (it's open 7 nights)... doing the 5 hour minimum... sometimes more (7 hours +) if I feel it will be profitable for me to do so. I usually am 'ready to work' by 8pm at that particular club (most nights opens 5pm). It allows me a little bit of time to get a dance or two before the majority of other dancers (by 10pm) arrive and are 'on the floor'.

I work 8-hour shifts 4 days a week with no breaks... talk about exhausting... plus I work during the day! Everyone at my club works the same hours though, and some work even extra days.

I work mandatory 9 hour shifts, as many days a week as i want-just have to let the manager know at least a week in advance what days I want to work. My club is only open from 4pm-2am, and the dancers work 5 till 2

Anywhere from 8 to 11 hour shifts-yuck! I would love to work 4, 5, or 6 hour shifts. Then I would work a lot more and not get burned out as often.
