    Default Essure

I hadn't heard of this until browsing the local PP site; it's like a nonsurgical alternative to tubal ligation. Does anyone here have any familiarity with it?

. . . of course the trick is getting someone who'll do this for a woman who hasn't had children . . .

sounds great! but I am allergic to nickle and reading the FAQ's that is one reason NOT to use this. Sucks!

Hmmm....interesting. I'm definitely going to ask my gyno about it. I asked to have my tubes tied at 25 and no one would do it. I've never had kids and never want to have kids. Even at 35 now doctors are hesitant. They always say "oh you're young, you might change your mind". When I've known since as far back as I can remember that I never wanted to. No disrespect to people with kids, having and raising a child is a good thing. I just know it's not for me.
