    Default weight loss and money

After losing 15 pounds and hiring a personal trainer, I'm making less money than I used to. I still have a butt, and curves, but I'm slimmer and more toned. WTF!! Does that make any sense to you?
    Sorry, but I'm just pissed.

You sure its not just because of the time of year? I dont know many girls making very much money right now. People are spending their time and money on xmas.
Congrats on the weight loss! Things will pick up soon... so I keep telling myself lol.

It's the time of year, but I've always made more money being a little thick than being stick thin. If you've gotten too thin, your missing out on the older guys who are looking for Marilyn Monroe or Xena body types rather than Barbie Doll.

I've lost fifteen pounds since the summer, and my earnings have gone up...but maybe it's because I feel more confident? I don't want to lose much more. Losing my breasts would not help...already they don't seem to push over my bra like they used to.

It is SUCH a back and forth thing for me. I'm still very very torn on this issue.

How do YOU feel most comfortable and confident?

I was always a thicker dancer. I'm 5'8" and my normal weight ranges from 135-145. Once I decided i wanted the waif look and got down to 118. Along with the pounds, i also lost most of my regulars. Just goes to show you, a "10" is different for every guy.

It depends on the club clientelle too.... my ideal weight is 15-20 pounds less in a club with younger customers with stage/lapdance money. In a club with older customers looking for VIP rooms, I do better with more weight.

I think it's the time of year too. Also when you lose weight that you don't really need to sometimes it makes you look harder instead of soft and sensous(sp). In the colder months especially, some women look better with a little bit of extra curve. So maybe it's just the combination of that and it being a slower time of year.

Are you freakin' kidding me!?!? I'm barely 5'3", and am 135 right now. I call myself thick, but look pretty damn good! There's no way you can stand that tall, be 135 lbs, and call yourself thick!

LOL Same here... i'm 5'4" and average between 135-140lbs. Everyone carries weight differently. There's another gal I know, about the same weight/height and she looks heavy. *shrug* Go figure!

118lbs for someone who is 5'8" is underweight. So that probably has to do with it. I wouldn't go anywhere under 122lbs for someone who is 5'8" or else you'll look unhealthy. And guys who are attracted to unhealthy looking girls either have homosexual tendencies or are pedophiles. And I personally wouldn't want to be attracting that crowd.

Oh, and I weigh approximately 130lbs at 5'8" and I look pretty damn thin. Look at the pic under my name and you can see for yourself.

I don't mean "thick" in a negative way. I mean I have some meat on my bones, an ass, curves, boobs, some substance. I live in the south, "thick" is a compliment, it doesn't mean overweight. But yea, at 118 I was underweight. I felt dizzy all the time and irritable.

I can completely agree with being an unhealthy weight is an unattractive feature, but you're implying some serious accusations here. Media convinces us to be attracted to certain types (waif model look, early 90's) Think about it; do you think men inthe 60's, 70's bitched about hairy bush? No! That was sexy then! (at least for the most part). We're easily swayed with the times; and if we're all told that's the epitome of sexy at the time, well, most of us eat it up.

That's very true. Thanks for pointing that out, I think I went a tad overboard. It's just natural for men to be attracted to healthy, fetile women. Tits, ass and nice skin and hair. But unfortunately most get sucked into the media, to the point where our basic carnal nature is getting all screwed up and we are obsessing over an unhealthy, unnatural ideal. I, for one, obsess over my weight and it is a constant struggle and I'm never satisfied! I guess i just need to try to become a stronger person in that sense and love myself for the way I'm meant to be... but i really don't think i'll ever be able to acheive that.

^sucks, doesn't it? the media puts this image in our minds, and we make ourselves feel back if we don't model that exact image....i hate it, but i do it too. i'm never satisfied w/ how i look, even though i am slim!!

as far as the original post (lol got off on a tangent).....it probably is most likely time of year, and i'm sure things will get better. do what makes you happy....if you like how you look, work with that b/c i have seen some girls who look unnaturally skinny and even overweight who banked all because they had confidence, which seems to win overall....now i just need to keep telling myself that.

    and concubine, you look awesome!

i pretty much did the same thing except i'm 5'9" and 122. I love how I look right now, except I miss my butt, and most of my regulars love it, bc they like the young model look so to them I'm even hotter, but now guys are saying that I'm too skinny and they don't like it. not regulars just random guys and on scl. I don't care I am very happy and much more confident, I feel great like this and I still make just as much mone as ever.

I am 5'8" and 130 pounds now, but back in the day when I used to way 120, I think I was more attractive. If you have a very small frame like me (bird bones...33.5 inch hips), naturally you look better when you're thinner. However, it's all in how you carry the weight. Each body has its optimal weight. When I am 120 pounds, I don't look unhealthy thin- I still look 'soft', and not even 'ribby'. But a friend of mine who is the exact same weight and height as I am right now- when she sucks in, you can see her entire ribcage and everyone exclaims how skinny she is.

I seem to do better with a little weight. Very little, no more than 5 pounds, but for some reason those few pounds sure seem to make a big difference in my income.
