I have oily skin and therefore a lot of trouble finding makeup that doesn't run quickly. I especially have trouble with the eyeliner/mascara.
What are your favorite no budge makeup winners for the job?

Revlon color stay base makeup. This stuff is like concrete. Plus it wont come off till you either blast it off in the shower, or wash it off with soap and some sort of cold creme. As for eyeliner.. Revlon makes a good waterproof liner ( liquid ) and a good waterproof mascara.

I second the Colorstay nomination, except for the lipstick. The Colorstay lipstick is terrible!!! But I have their foundation, nail polish, and eyeshadow, and I love them. Especially the eyeshadow - if you put it on wet, it's not going ANYWHERE no matter how hard you dance. One night I wore it at the club, danced for seven hours, came home and fell asleep without taking it off, and in the morning, it still looked terrific!
Does that waterproof mascara work for sweating and skin oils? I've had trouble with various waterproof mascaras in the past, and found that "waterproof" and "smudgeproof" can be two different things.Posted by Crow:

A good waterproof mascara is one by MaxFactor. The 2000 calorie Aqua lash. You can have the greasiest eye lids ever/sweat & this thing wont smudge one bit. It's great.
For foundation I have Maybelline's Dream Matte Mousse. This is as dry as chalk. You can sweat and it's still there. If you have oily skin, it'll hold up the matte for a while. I like it, but something that covers the oil in your skin not to blot out can make you break out too. So don't sleep with makeup on!![]()
No matter how tired. If you don't want to wash your face after a long night & just don't feel like washing your face, use one of those face wipies that removes makeup. I have the Pond's one, it's good.
Oooh! Great suggestions. Thank you!

I have somewhat oily skin and it's a hard color to match (very very pale, so red tones show up easily, but my natural skin color is kind of olive-y.) Most makeup that appears to match my shade doesn't actually hide anything.
For foundation, I've finally found something I'm happy with, which is Mary Kay Medium Coverage. (I get it on Ebay extra cheap.) As for eyeliner I've found one which won't even entirely come off with oil-type makeup remover -- Prestige automatic liner. They've clearly changed their formula in the last few years, it wasn't always that hard to remove. Really solid line, too.
I use a colorstay lipstick sometimes, and it does do what it says it does (stays on.) But it has a nasty smell. So usually I put it on, wipe most of it off, and add another lippy on top, which still increases lipstick life and is much less nasty.

For foundation Revlon colorstay is excellent- I back this up too! To take it off you need cold cream and a good lathering face wash. I heard of a girl on my swim team in high school who would swim in the pool with it on and it wouldn't budge.
Also for eyeliner, if you like that smoldering look of black rimmed eyes, the BEST eyeliner I discovered recently is MAC fluidliner, the black one is a color called "blacktrack". It comes in a small glass jar and you need a good fine point eye lining brush to apply it but the color is rich and vivid and the staying power is as excellent as the Revlon colorstay.
