Yea he's the guy who does extreme makover. I looked at his plan a while back because i was so impressed with ppls results on the show but the majority of the reviews i read on different sites were quite negative of the product. Either way i would still give it a try i tend to like things others don't anyway lol
Seraya.
He also offers a book... which I purchased from Amazon.com. I opted to get that instead.

Speaking about 'diets'... anyone tried the CSIRO Total WellBeing Diet or the Dr Phil Ultimate Weight Solution Diet ??

Everyone knows it takes a "lifestyle change" to lose weight and be healthy. How many people do you know that follow a diet and exercise plan to the T... would explain the negativity... you can diet for a week and lose a few pounds but if you go back to your normal habits youll gain it back and then some...
I say try it...
OMG, I'm glad somebody mentioned it. I did it a few years ago, lost 40lbs. It took me 6 months though b/c I didn't follow the program, just some guidelines (low sodium, other stuff). It takes a complete lifestyle change that I didn't have the willpower to make. However, if you do, it will work in the 6 weeks, no joke. I kept the weight off for about a year, still not sticking to the program (he gives a program to keep the weight off too), but then I went back to my old ways (I think from depression) and the weight is coming back (that's what I get for eating a double cheeseburger a day, literally).
It's well worth the money, but it takes a lot of time (you have to cook a lot) and dedication. Once I went away to college (that's when the weight started to come back), I didn't have my mom around to cook for me anymore and I can't cook so I was pretty much screwed.
I liked that it was a very thorough program. It doesn't just tell you what to eat and then leave you; there are tips to beat certain cravings and more; And if you've been doing it for about a week, and then fall off one day, nothing happens.
After seeing me lose the weight, my mom bought a kit, my older sister bought a kit, and pretty much everyone I know who was trying to lose weight (all of my mom's friends, the receptionist at the orthodontist). Even my gymnastics coach bought one for his daughter. My father, a personal trainer, got it for my step mother
When I get my life settled, I'm gonna get going with it again b/c I felt great while on it (really healthy) and like sh*t now (really greasy).
Try it![]()

I NEED a total lifestyle change. ANd what I REALLY need is someone to kick me in the ass to make it happen. I have been telling myself for months that I am finally going to lose this last 15 or 20 lbs, but I jsut can't seem to make myslef do it. I have started several diets, read a ton 'o' books, and swallowed enough Tonalin and similar suppliments to reach to the moon and back.
I actaully saw this on an infomercial at work, then came home and looked it up. I liked the fact that it seemed like a very complete program, and that they are available to talk to you all the time. I called the customer service line to ask about my options as a vegetarian, and they guy was very helpful.
I think I will get this program for myself for Christmas, and make it into my New Years Resolution.
