Tonalin: the stuff is definitely working. I am taking 2-4 pills a day. It's shrinking my bellyfat noticeably, and making me poop more (not diarrhea or anything -- just more frequent bowel movements.) I suppose maybe it metabolizes and eliminates fat or something? That might explain the increased bloodstream lipid count reported in studies, and might also explain the acne some have described (more work for the liver?)
I was having an increase in acne a few weeks ago, and started taking milk thistle (cheapest from Trader Joe's) -- 500 mg a night. No more big zits or major clogged pores! Wow! I suggest anyone with an acne problem try this stuff. Anyone with liver problems too -- it MAJORLY clears your liver, and this is backed up by studies. It can even reverse some kinds of liver disease and if you're taking painkillers or drinking alcohol daily, this stuff is your best friend.
I found out about it when I was having these big cravings for parsley, capers, and artichokes last year -- turns out all of these foods heal the liver, and I was taking ibuprofen at the time, so I must have had some liver strain going on. When I started taking the milk thistle, all cravings stopped. :-)
