    stretch marks and too skinny?

I am considering dancing but Im afraid that my audition will go bad because first of all I am 5'8 and only 120lbs, very slim as you can see, I have b cup breasts and the biggest issue is I have stretch marks on my butt and thighs. I cant stand the fact that I have them and I was wondering if this could ruin an audition? Do you guys know of anyone who has stretch marks in this area and also am I too skinny?

There are a lot of girls that use body makeup like DermaBlend, CoverBlend, and Covermark to hide scars, stretchmarks, brusies, tattoos, etc. I've never used them, and I hear DermaBlend glows under the black lights, but it wouldn't hurt to try them if you're really uncomfortable about your stretchmarks.

As for being too skinny, it takes all kinds. Some guys like voluptuous girls, and some like skinny girls. (It depends on how you wear your weight, too.) B cups are plenty big enough... you'll hear it over and over again on these boards: it's not so much the appearance as how well you hustle. Smile.

Keep in mind, you will be in a dim, black light environment (which is extremely forgiving to flaws). I'm sure you've been out to a nightclub before and noticed how beautiful everyone else "seems" to be. Same concept applies here. You sound proportionally appropriated for your height and weight and as long as your club's lighting system doesn't imitate that of an office cubicle, you'll be fine.

I have NEVER in my whole life met a girl who had zero stretch marks. Most men don't give a second thought about them, if they even bother noticing. It's the shape that gets them, and your smell, and your voice, hair, eyes...It's also very dark in most clubs.
If they really bug you once you have $$$ you can get them removed with a lazor tratment.

I really appreciate your answers. I have always been self conscious about being too skinny and also the stretch marks because I have had them since I was young. I hope you guys are right about it not being so visible in the club atmosphere and I will also try some of those cover up tricks. Thank you!

I have some on my waist. I used to shift weight so much...i even noticed a light few on my breast. I am using cocoa butter for stretch marks....its starting to fade them. Put it on twice a day. It takes time but its starting to fade them. I went to the SC i want to work at tonight to check it out, i wore low cut pants that showed them.....none of the gguys noticed them and they were staring at me more then the dancers so don't worry about it. Just start using cocoa butter

I agree, stretch marks are no biggie, unless they are huge and look like a relief map. But the average stretch marks, no one seems to notice or even care.

For the weight, do you feel good about yourself? Then don't worry about it.

Boobs? A Bcup is a good size for a thinner girl. Don't sweat it.

I think the being thin is fine, a b cup is proportional, and there are lotions for the marks. Self-tanners are good too. The lighting the club can make the most busted girl look good, it takes all kinds!!! It is natrual to feel self-conscious when you are going to be dancing naked......but once you just do it it will be fine!!

Oh, you can heal yours! Hurry to the store to get the dermablend before it is too late..The scar cream promotes collegen growth that will help fill in the scars from wear the skin wripped..having filled in stretch marks is preferable then having indented marks. If they fill in, in about 4 mounths to a year they will fade away. If they don't fill in, it can take a couple years for them to properly fade in. The younger you are, the more likely your collegen will fill them up.
help for the stretch marks- oil of oley skin products vitamins, get the kit that will give you all 4 vitamins in a pack. jergins skin firming lotion, or the vasalene one, they help firm every thing up. Something weird..pepto bismal applied like a mask, weird, but it works. leave it on for a few minutes before a bath(like when tweezing brows) Mud masks, and also wearing loose breathable cotten clothing when possible.
Yes, purple and red are normal and healthy, they will fade away w/time.

I have them also....a road map to Maine.....LOL...

The dr.s can prescribe you Vitamin A Acid Gel...you have to be on birth control but it is used for Acne...and in some cases premature aging and stretch marks. You only need a little bit and it works....

I agree with a lot of the other girls here - stretch marks are VERY common, even with skinny girls (like me). I was on the pill for a few years and my breasts grew a whole cup size. When I went off of them again, they shrank down to a B cup and I have stretch marks. I think all girls get them at puberty. I know very few women, if any, that don't have them.
And don't worry about your height/weight. You sound like the fashion model type of girl that men DROOL over. Use your height to your advantage and flaunt those long legs.
Believe me, no matter what you look like (face, hair, clothes), men are going to love your personality, charm and confidence more than anything.

Be proud of who you are and go get 'em tiger!!

as susie was saying i think just about every dancer has them.. whether they are small or big... it is incredibly hard to tell when the club is so dark..... and most guys really aren't even noticing that... tanning and sunless tanner are tremendous helps to hide them...

I used to work with a girl who had VERY noticeable stretch marks on her hips, but I never noticed them until my friend pointed them out because she always wore a skirt... it was a fully nude club, so when time came to take off her bottoms, she just left the skirt hiked up around her waist a bit like a very wide belt... it sounds strange, but the guys didn't care a bit... gave her that "too busy to completely take my clothes off" look.

I have bad sunken ones on my hips. I've seen women in the dressing room with the worst stretch marks I have ever seen, and in the black lights it was invisible. If they are still purplish, Retin A can help.
