    Your Opinions?

Just wondering if you guys think I would be cut out for stripping...

I'm 5ft 11' (giant!) and around 70kg (sorry I dunno what that is in pounds), I've taken some pole dancing classes in the past (adored it!) and also I've worked in a club before as a waitress, but didnt like the particular clubs vibe so much...

I'd love to be a lingerie model... and I am pretty comfortable with my body but what do you gals think?

P.S. I warn I like to get artsy when i take pics sorry hehe

to be honest with you looks only count for about 30% of your earnings, it is how you hustle, present yourself etc. Looks are just a bonus, how ever you do have a prretty face!

Good Luck with any decision you decide to go with!

How is the best way to test out my hustling skills? Is there anyway to find out before I hit the floor in the club, or is it just a matter of going out there and see how I go?

I'd say try to persue the modeling. You are pretty but as stated above stripping isn't so much about the looks. Good Luck!

Snyper there really is no way to find out before you hit the floor. I suggest to find a club, try a night out (or maybe a week) and if you dont like it then you can quit. Managers dont care if a girl quits b/c she didnt like stripping. Most clubs anywhere have a high turnover rate.

You are certainly beautiful - and being comfortable with yourself is extremely important (even outside of this business).
You should do what makes you happy.

Before you visit any clubs, ask yourself these questions (and respond to yourself honestly):

Are you able to be assertive, but polite when it comes to piggish men?
Can you handle rejection on a continual basis (and still be resilient and not let lack of monetary response get you down)?
How do you feel about working with a lot of other women who tend to be catty and competitive?
Are you willing to talk to men about pointless bullshit for long periods of time?
Do you feel comfortable being nude in front of strangers on a stage?
Can you handle wearing high heels for 8 hours or more?

In my opinion, it takes a strong constitution to be a stripper. You can't go in there expecting to make tons of money every night, so be prepared to have some bad nights here and there. Men will refuse your advances at times...it does not mean you are not beautiful or worthy of their money, but you have to have a 'game face' to handle rejection on a constant basis.
It is not for everyone, but it can be a great job if you make it that way. It's all up to you, how much you want to be there and what kind of place you choose to work in.
From my experience, the more energy and dedication you put into it, the more you will see in return.
If you think it's something you really want to do, visit some clubs in your area as a customer, ask the girls what is expected of them, how much they make on average, etc. (if they are willing to share that info with you) and go from there.
Never compromise your integrity and respect your own limits....
    AND HAVE FUN!!

    GOOD LUCK!

Thanks heaps for your comments Alexxa, I really appreciate it! Helps me shed more light on the idea!

I think the next step for me is to go to the final club on my list of potential employers... I've been to the other three major ones in my city...

    Again thanks! hehe

Hey Tigers Milk thanks for the reply...

I have worked in one of the Adelaide clubs before as a waitress (you had to dance on stage when the dancers were giving private dances) and was told I was a natural... and got told off for talking too much to customers... I was just being friendly!

But I quit this after about 3 nights work cos I dont think I was ready at the time... I got a bit scared when the girls told me that I would 'so become a dancer!' And issues with my ex and parentals... but I did enjoy it, but I was too easily swayed by others opinions.

Since I have become a whole lot more confident about myself and have taken 8 months of pole dancing classes which I LOVE! So I think mentally I'm ready to take it on now!

You look cute so i doubt that is an issue. i would have to say get on the floor and see how you work it and let the vibe and money motivate you. As far as your body i would tone it up just a lil bit. You will need it anyways to be able to dance for extended periods of time. Long nights and short days.

There is no statistic to how much looks will net you. The main thing about looking good is that it gets you the attention and it will bost your confidence, so looks count a lot. The key point is that they are not the most important. Selling is. You can use your looks to help you do that, but if you're not confident, work on that first.
