Hey everyone. I was wondering if anyone knew some good weight workouts for short arms. I have 3 pound weights and 5 pound weights, but I do not want my arms to look bulky. Thanks all![]()

If you don't want your arms to look bulky, don't inject horse testosterone. :-) 99% of women don't really bulk up from weight lifting unless they try REALLY hard, and you'll know before that point. And you'll definitely have to buy something bigger than a 5-pound weight to get there.

Light weights, many reps, many people can keep toned arms from having a manual labor job or hobby.

I thought you meant "quick" workouts. My arms are nicest when I do chinups and pushups every day. Quick.. and good.
As a short person myself, I can say that I tend to bulk up faster than most. I don't know if it's because my muscles aren't as long as the rest of you or just genetics, but I have to be careful not to do too much or else I start looking like a mini-bodybuilder!
I avoid weights altogether and do floor exercises for toning and flexibility and some cardio. Now I've just added some pole workouts and it's all good. My arms are getting a bit bigger with the pole workouts but so far nothing outrageous.
Stay with light weights and many reps as Maxine said, best way to avoid bulking up too much.
