I know I did... I just can't seem to tell myself "that's too expensive" or "I can't afford that gift" when I think it is the right one for the person...

Not yet, but I'm about to. I have to come up with something for the entire freakin' office. Looks like I'll be up all night making peppermint marble. I wanted to go dance tonight but doesn't look like that'll happen... I'll get off work at 10 pm, go to the store, and be up all night making goddamn peppermint fucking marble for people who aren't even going to eat it.

Bah-humbug. I bought alot gifts for 2 childrens local charities. I think if anyone deserves a gift or few its them.

I might not get to buy my TV but I have so much this year anyways.

Guilty. I went a little overboard. But then again, it's nothing unusual. I go a tad bit overboard every year it seems.

I'll be doing my shopping in January, once I get home. I'm using my broken left femur as an excuse for not fighting the crowds at the malls. I'll probably go a little overboard on my nephews (all 4 of 'em).

A little overboard - on myself! I stuck to the budget for friends and family as knew what to get them and how much it would cost... just the Xmas pressies for myself that I have gone over-board with.. it is kinda for work however I "shouted" myself in the spirit of Christmas.

I think I did pretty good. For me, its all more about getting my loved ones something they would like or can use than about the price tag, and I can usually find that stuff in the $30-60 range.

I even sent our local Red Cross chapter some moolah this morning. After this year, they definitely can use it more than I can.

Thanks to a new rule on my husbands side the family the adults do not give eachother presents, except ofcourse husband to wife and vs/vrs.

Now we only buy for the under 18 kids. That saved us ALOT of $ this year

Not too bad. My girlfriend's been making jewelry, so I've mostly just had to buy stones. And a couple books... and things.

We did a little bit. Mox and I both have good (and stable) jobs now, so we decided to get more expensive stuff for our families this year.

I also bought Mox a Fender Strat for Christmas, and he bought me a digital camera (and who knows what else ).

Our biggest present for ourselves, though, will be spending a bit extra to get the heck out of the apartment we're living at!

Not really too bad so far, lol.

Last years total was almost 5 grand including everything.

This year I have got it just under 3 grand, but I still have a few days left!

I might go ahead and get him that Guitar God game for the PS2, that him and kiddo went nuts for in EB on Sun.

But other than that and tons of candy still to make, I'm done, done, done!!!

yes, I've been pretty bad. I was sticking to my planned budget, but then I found a place that will do a custom set of napoleonic hussar boots that my best friend will just die over, so the budget is no more.

ah well I just won't dine out much next month.

Nope, I spent more last year, but I had more disposable income last year too. Luckily the people I shopped for didn't want anything too expensive.

Rhi, if I had your little girl, I would go overboard too. I could NEVER say no to that adorable face!
