Default ceiling height and home poles

I have a question that I don't think has been answered on the other threads. I want to get a pole for my house but I have 8 foot ceilings and I don't know if that is high enough. I know the poles I can buy are designed for that height, but for those who have poles at home--is it enough room to work with? I feel like I might be limited in my moves in such a low space (and therefore the investment might not be worth it). What do you think?

The poles at my club are much than 8 feet...I think they're about 7 feet tall - so when I set my pole up under my 9 foot ceilings, I'll have more than enough room to work with and do whatever moves I want. I don't think you'll have a problem either.

It should be ok really, as long as you remember you are at home with a lower ceiling.

So if you wanna do flips or inverts, just set your hands at a lower height, and remember that when you go to work to grab higher.

I've not had a problem working with mine on an 8 foot ceiling. Especially for practice it should be fine. You'll probably start out working and inverting lower anyway, so unless you're really tall, it should be fine.

8' is fine. The ceiling in my studio is 8' and I haven't ever had a problem.
