Do the blondes make the most $$ at the clubs
you work at? They make the most at my club.
What is the best wig, you can buy that does
not look fake?

I say work with whatever looks good with your skin tone. I went bleached blond with a dark tan and I still looked washed out. Brunette makes me stand out.
There is no one body type or hair colour that makes more money then others. For every guy who loves a blonde there will be a guy who loves a burnett or red head or black hair...
I think you should go with the hair color that suits you best...when I started dancing I was a blonde but after years of dying my hair...and just wanting a change I went red -I found no difference in tips...or attention. I don't know about it now..but when I was on circuit all the agents and managers wanted you blonde...you show up for the Monday morning meeting and it was like a Robert Palmer video....all the same girls,no variety.
I think it depends on the crowd. being the only blonde in my club right now, is helping me a lot. The nights when i dont make any money, i will go put on a brown wig. I change my hair all the time in the same night. The guys know it is me, but they have fun with all the different me's!
I have always been blonde, then i died my hair brown...(i felt more sexy and prettier) and my cash flow went down. now i put some blonde highlights in and my money has gone back up. i thought it was just me, so i asked the other girls there and the same thing happened when they died there hair darker...i dont know...Do what best looks good on you!! If you can afford it, go to a professional and get your hair done, i tried dying my hair brown and it came out purple, it was a mess, but i got it fixed... (I Love U Dave) <<<<Hair dresser!!!!![]()
I think haircolor matters to some guys, but not most. However, one of the girls at my club dyed her hair back to her natural brown color after being blonde for 2 years, and she said her tips dropped a lot, and she ended up dying her hair back to blonde 2 weeks later. I'm blonde and I make good money, but I don't think I make much more or less than girls with different hair colors. So I don't know. I think it's more about the girl than the haircolor. The girl I work with definetely looks better as a blonde, so that could be why her money went down after she dyed her hair brown. I think it's how the color looks on you personally, not the color in general.

Some women can pull off blonde or brunette equally well (Reese Witherspoon, I think). Some really look better as one or the other. I'm naturally honey blonde, but I highlight it with platinum so it's quite light looking. I've dyed it light brown, red, caramel blonde- all were universally detested by everyone I know (except me, I like variety). Yet I know girls who look stunning as brunettes (ever see Angelina Jolie in one of her 'blonde' roles? not nearly as pretty). I guess it's all about discovering what works for you personally. I think skintone and facial features have a lot to do with it.

From my own experience, i definetely made more money as a blonde. Even when my hair glowed a funny colour under the lights!
Well....I stick to the redheads, myself. There are soo few of those that I get lots of good ol' fake attention once they know I'm not afraid of the "ginger minge".

"Sexy...sexy as hell"
Ive been a blond for years while dancing.. I would go red and brunette with modeling but never danced with a color other than blond...
2 weeks ago I cut all my hair off (to my shoulders) and colored it med brown.. it looks great and Ive noticed the customers that Ive gotten since tend to be a bit older with a bit more money... maybe its just my perception but I think Im doing better brunette...
AND I dont have to tan everyday because I looked 100% washed out as a blond if I didnt have a dark tan...
I did well with each and every hair color. But as a blonde, I did notice lots of men adding "blonde" to every descriptive comment about me....also, when I told guys where I'm from originally, they would get this all-knowing attitude, "of, I knew you're russian, of course, you're blonde!"Because we all look like Ivan Drago ya know..... but it helped with the sex-starved mail-order bride persona, one of my favorites!![]()

Hair color has absolutely nothing to do with it in my opinion. When I first started dancing I use to think that hair color was important so I bleached my hair golden blonde. There were nights when blondes would make more money and others when brunettes would make more money. Eventually my hair started falling out because of the bleach. I started noticing that the top money earners were not the prettiest but pretty and brunette. Our prettiest girl is Hungarian and a gorgeous blonde but because of her attitude she doesn't make the most money. So, I am letting my hair get darker and it doesn't affect my money. I still make money when there are customers, lol. The customer situation is another story.

I think the stereotype about blondes making more money is kind of true UNLESS the girl in question looks much better as a brunette. I dyed my hair back to my natural mousy brown color for one day and everybody said they didn't like it. I feel like I look much better with blonde hair, and I didn't feel confident in the way I looked with brown hair. But, some girls are better off being brunette. When Angelina Jolie was in Life or Something Like It, she had blonde hair and she looked okay, but I think she's much prettier as a brunette. So I would go with whatever hair color looks best on you, because then you'll feel confident in the way you look.![]()

We may never know who makes better money overall. Too many variables besides hair color. I agree that going with the look that suits you best will help you make your most money.
HOWEVER....
I have noticed this... I am a brunette--very dark brown hair, almost black. No hilights. Very shiny, mid-length layered hair. We have two stages in my club parallel to each other. On busy nights, we'll have three on one stage, and two on the other, sometimes three on each. The blondes nine times out of ten get tipped FIRST. And in my club it's $5 to get the top off, $5 to get the bottoms off and be fully naked. SO MANY TIMES i'll be up there fully clothed at the end of the set, and the blondes have been butt naked, far beyond their $10 needed to get them nude. SUCKS. This doesnt always happen, and there's always the happy exception. But I've noticed this from personal experience. Last night for instance, four blondes, two brunettes. At the end of the set all but one blonde was naked, the other topless, and I and the other brunette--fully clothed and workin it, smiles on our faces!! Any one else notice something similar to this in their club?
Trying not to make a mountain out of a mole-hill. But once you notice it, it can get under your skin.
(I'm italian, and would look horrible as a blonde. It's out of the question. I"m not into hilighting my hair. I am what I am--a good lookin brunette. I don't hate blondes, either. I just wonder WTF the guys that are tipping are thinking sometimes.)
well, im sure a lot of you will disagree. I dont usually have the popular opinions.
I have natural blonde hair. Give my ten or twenty minutes in a good bright sun and I have close to white hair. I HATE blonde hair. Bottle blondes are even worse. I just dont like the color of blonde hair, expescially the whit platinum blonde so many ppl love. I keep my hair out of the sun so that it does not lighten up, and I sometimes dye it, but it holds color for a really long time so I dont have to dye very often. My roots are darker than my tips because of the sun and so is the underneath. A lot of ppl think I am a bottle blonde which gets on my nerves. Im a bottle brunette. I want to go get my hair died again soon. That really deep choclate color.
As for it helping money, I think most men prefer hair with length. Also, you should wear the color you are most comfy in and feel the best in. If you think your hair needs a little something, before you go dye it, try taking some vitamens for a few weeks. Healthy hairin any color will look betther than unhealthy hairl in any color.
I think hair color sometimes plays a role...it also can depend what location you are in...some places brunettes are big and some blondes are big. I think you should want to stand out in a club. If you are the only girl lets say that has red hair...you obviously may make more because guys usually like to get a dance from girls of every hair color...and if there are 20 blondes to choose from you may have less of a chance getting picked if all the blondes are knockouts!![]()
Once in a while I notice a guy who will tip anything blonde that walks by. Same thing with big boobs. I've never noticed anyone with a similar obsession with brunettes or small boobs. But I think guys with a hard and fast "type" are in the minority. Most can be swayed by the right girl. That said, I have thought about getting a blonde wig and trying it out.
To answer the original poster's question, there are plenty of girls who dance in wigs. For a synthetic wig, you should plan to spend at least $50. For a well-made human hair wig (the most convincing, and easiest to style) you can spend anywhere from $100 - 1000, depending on the quality, length, and type of hair. If there's a wig shop in your town, go try a few on, and take a friend who can give an objective opinion. If you live somewhere that doesn't have a shop, there are plenty of places to buy online. You won't get to try them on, but I beleive the International House of Wigs website has a feature where you can upload a pic of yourself and "try on" various wigs.

Thank you for the website about the wigs. I will check that
out, it could be fun. I just notice the blondes always are
doing table dances and all the brunettes will be like whats
up with that? The dancer I carpool with is blonde and makes
3 times what I make. So ya can't help but be bummed out
about that. I'm happy for her but would be happy for myself
if I could make more $$
Seriously blonde hair just attracts! It's the look of the light hair. Does not mean once a guy gets a better look at you he will buy a dance...but people seem to be attracted to the light hair by itself.
Blondes are known for a "good time!" Which is great at earning money dancing! A dark haired raven would probably do better selling cars! She gets taken more serious!
A recent poll: Many men love blondes to date, laugh and fuck. You know good time women!
BUT..dark hair, usually shoulder length gets the guy, i.e. marriage! Dark hair is taken on a much more serious level.

I have am a natrua brunette, I have dyed my hair a honey blond, and the underneath is dark brown. The roots are caramel w/ heavy highlights. I always stick out, blond hair and big boobs. There are a lot of brunettes at my club, and one resident red head. I like being blonde for now, I am sure I will go back to brunette eventually. Blonde is very high maintence for me, but I love it!!

Pamela, I was thinking about it and it might have some truth to it.

I date ALOT, get tons of guys telling me I'm pretty and hot, tons of guys asking for my number, flirting wit me, etc..in general I get quite alot of male attention...HOWEVER I dont get many guys that want to be in a serious relationship wit me, Ive been sad recently because of that, my longest relationship was 4 months. I was thinking that maybe its my blonde hair colour
Has anyone else noticed this??
